#140641 Gorilla Glue Or Epoxy?

Posted by PC III on 16 February 2008 - 05:59 PM in General Nerf

It really depends on what you are trying to do. For an integration I use Plumbers Goop with plastic struts internally, And externally I use Epoxy Putty covered in hot glue. For a Coupler, use Epoxy (be SURE to rough up both edges that will be adhered together). For air gun internals I use Plumbers Goop.

#140643 Recon Shoulder Stock Rebuild With Spring Integration And Shotgun Mod.

Posted by PC III on 16 February 2008 - 06:06 PM in Modifications

Why did you remove the pop up sight on the barrel extenuation? once folded down the the sight on the coking slider makes a very iron sight. That is what the notches in the circular peace are for.
I hope that made sense.

How secure is it? It looks like it would fall off after any sudden movement.

My LS is not modded, just the clip, its a powerclip

What do you mean? Did you somehow make the ls us powerclip clips? i do not think that that is possible.

Kabumei - the art of the sharpened grenade. Enjoy, Piney.

At first I thought that that was real, until I saw him stab the 'nade into his mouth.

On topic. I dont nesecarily think that Cole intends to use the CrossbowSpitfireMantaray in a war, he was just using this as an example.

#141455 Electronics In Nerf?

Posted by PC III on 20 February 2008 - 12:27 AM in Homemades

There was a thread like this recently. it would be possible but the amount of force required to cock a spring is quite large, and would require a MASSIVE motor. All in all, cocking a gun is not too hard, not worth the time.
See what good searching does?

How old must you be? I can bring 2.5.

#141595 Nerf Gun Cam

Posted by PC III on 20 February 2008 - 07:56 PM in Nerf Wars

This is a good idea, I might try this. Possibly have it store to a usb thumb-drive, to cut down on bulk. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe FA24 did this on his assassin videos. You could clearly see the darts on his rf20.

PINEY EDIT: I went to your link; there's the code for posting the image in a forum, right there. I C&P'd this code for the Crossbow, for example;http://i252.photobuc...II/DSC_0001.jpg

That's what you want to stick in the [img] brackets. But you have to resize those rascals, P.C. They're huge.

#141777 Texas War (wtno)

2.5 people (young brother, and father), how old must one be to attend this war? I can bring some sidearms.

#141807 The Vulcan

Posted by PC III on 21 February 2008 - 08:19 PM in General Nerf

After opening up my FF, I learned that it has a different plunger tube than the dtg (smaller) and the mav's is tiny, and reversed.

#141812 Texas War (wtno)

Posted by PC III on 21 February 2008 - 08:30 PM in Nerf Wars

Ok good. Any anti 1800' range (exaggeration) titan laws? Or is it one of those, if you can take it you can use it scenarios? Gun limit? because I would use an Xbow-at2k-sm5k for a primary, ms secondary, and spitfire and lnl-ttg for sidearms.

Or just have extra belts, and have the reloader load them and assist in putting in the new chain.

*edit* This would be like trying to load a rf20 wile it is shooting.

#143047 Manhunt

Possibly dart tag vests? This looks good, but I think something more substantial than a nf, and WAY more than five darts.

#143050 Texas War (wtno)

#143071 Increasing Accuracy?

Posted by PC III on 28 February 2008 - 07:43 PM in Modifications

If you cannot use stefans, then the extra 4ish. inches of barrel will hurt, not help. Cut the cpvc to three inches, sand it down, and slap on, lets say five inches of pvc.

This should help with range and accuracy. (you can use a cralola in place of cpvc)

*edit* Sam beat me to it, but leave a stub of craola-cpvc to grip the foam section of the dart.

#143148 Bbb+at3k Question

I have integrated a nf onto the bottom of a bbb before, in its shell. Or do you mean internals of the 3k only?

#143332 The Perfect Gun...

Posted by PC III on 01 March 2008 - 03:17 PM in General Nerf

Unless the war you hypothetically go to doesn't allow homemades. I would suggest experimenting with different blasters, and seeing what fits you. Do you use sefans? if not you should, and if you still don't you will be more restricted to lower range blasters ex. Hornet, ms, nf, ff, dtb, ect. Another advantage to stefans is that they are cheap. Whew got a bit sidetracked there. There is no "perfect" blaster, they all have goods and bads.

P.C.

Really just experiment, only you can tell what you like.

#143458 Recon Barrel Replacement Idea

Posted by PC III on 02 March 2008 - 03:02 PM in Modifications

but with a tighter barrel, air will escape around the bolt without a perfect seal. It would be very hard to make a new breach that the entire front section could be simply be removable wile retaining a seal.

#143493 Pvc?

#143496 Ds Not Firing

#143549 Foam Dummy
