I sanded the blue shell thoroughly, rubbed it down with an acetone-soaked cotton ball, and then rinsed it with water and let it air-dry. I then painted with Krylon fusion black spray paint, white acrylic paints, and a Krylon triple-thick clear glaze. The PJ is very durable. Both of the handles have also been plastidipped, making it exceptionally comfortable to operate.
Shoots very well, very fun to play with as well.
