I would suggest doing the solid stock mod,
as it is not amusing to have the stock unexpectedly collapse while cocking it.

Is it practical? as it is, not really.

Does it have potential? In my opinion, yes.

I was thinking of doing something like this. It would be guided by the "TACTICAL N-STRIKE RAIL"... and it would engage a breech and clip system on the front... however I have not the tools, materials nor the time to do such a project....anytime soon.

I prefer to plan it out, then start. If anything doesn"t work according to plan I'll adjust.

I do like my guns to look clean, not that overly hot glued or duct taped together stuff.

For me it started when I bought an old bbb from a friend of mine, then later I discovered the Mav which I shot those annoying boxelder bugs with. Years later after I had worked all of them to destruction. I left nerf.
That was untill last year when guys at school began talking about nerf wars (basicly assasin) and I got involved. Then I began to see pictures of painted guns from this site and I began too look for ways too make my third mav better than theirs. Soon after painting and modding it I bought more guns, and again turned to NH for tried and true mods.
I disliked my anonymity and inability to post so I applied for membership, and thats how it all started.

that was my first war and I am very satisfied with what I got out of it; a bbb, at3k and a crapload of stefans and an all around good time.
The cold however, was unpleasent.

I have come up with a new way to do this without super glue or soldering anything; on the back of the little circut piece there are two blobs of solder which held the original LED in place, now tape the new LED onto the back so that it's touching the respective + and - contacts. much simpler.

Its pretty simple, and I'm suprised that I havent heard of anyone doing this before.
I dont have my camera on me but, this is simple enough to not need them.

1-open the gun
2-remove the "laser" from the shell
3-pry the little circut thing with wires off the black part
4-cut off the LED
5-find another LED (preferably one that is not red)
6-super glue the new LED on to the contacts making sure that the + and - are aligned and that it works. I E
half assembled so that the batteries are in and its a complete circut with the LED.
(ok, this is how I did mine and It sorta works.....unless if you drop it)
I would suggest that If you can manage a soldering iron, use it.
7-undo 1,2,3

Well, thats how I got a blue "lasered" NF.
I'll clarify if there are any questions about this.

If it was electric you could mount it onto the frame of the bike so that it would aim strait ahead then, you could wire a new trigger onto the handlebar so that all you have to is to face your target and press the trigger.

...of coarse you would be headed right at your target so safety would be a problem.

the question is really vauge but, my opinion is that it would be better to stand your ground and get a few good shots off than to turn tail and run.
(considering you leave the details like...
-the terrain
-the weapons
-ammo capacity (for both)
-your ability to dodge darts
-your opponents abitlity to dodge darts )

any good nerfer should be able to make a good decision(quickly) for any situation.
