Since the 2007 East Coast Schedule was so successful in helping us fill in our calendar gaps, 2008 looks like it will require the same. The format is simple "Month: (Date) Event name (State)". 2007 included 18 major East Coast events. Use this page frequently for updates and information. Consider it a directory of relevant links:

I attended more wars in 2007 than I did any other previous year in my Nerfing career, and East Coast had more organized wars than ever before. That being said, let's make 2008 even better.

Probably one in February or March, I'll have to talk to my clan and SGA to get it organized/finalized. One bad thing about being a Registered Student Organization is that there's a lot more paperwork to go through.

Alright, I'm not exactly sure what "standard" Matt was setting here but it certainly didn't have much to do with actually nerfing. So I'm hijacking this topic and pinning it until the end of the 2008 nerf season. I've added the ECNO war to the roster and encourage anyone with east coast war considerations to post them here as well as in their individual topics. I'm not gonna hunt them down for you, so if you want people to take notice post here and I'll edit the first post. Don't post in this thread unless you are organizing the war or representing the person who does. That is all.

Just to make sure you add PCNO to the schedule, it is a for sure event now, and will occur on March 15th in Clinton, SC.

Well, it looks like Evil has fallen off the face of the planet. As such, I've updated the calendar with all the Spring wars and some of the Summer ones being organized on the boards as of now. If there are any corrections that need to be made, let me know.

The LCM normally does a "Tune Up" in May.

With DCNO being pushed to May, where would we like to place the "Tune Up" war? I know the Horsemen do an invite only Deal. Should the LCM then host something for the masses in the late May/Early June timeframe. The only snafu I see is that I will be moving to DC on June 1st, and will probably be settling into the new job/place for the first couple of weeks. That then bumps us back to late June, which starts to get dangerously close to Armageddon.

Thoughts?

Well, I can't speak for everyone but I don't think close dates are an issue. Just perusing the calendar so far shows many war dates back to back, sometimes multiple wars on same dates as well. With that being said, either late May or June might work pretty well for the annual LCM hosted event. My money would be on a late May time frame seeing as many people would be done with school around then and it'd be before the large Summer wars coming in the next 3 months.

Well Deal is generally the last weekend in june but we may be moving it up to mid june this yer (I'd like to) if our schedules fit. We'll give you a heads up on that when we figurfe it out. That said, an early June or Late May war would be a nice addition. Personally, I don't know if I'll be attending any wars the weekend before Deal due to all the preparation we'll need, but that should leave at the very least one weekend in early June that I'd be up for.

There is a war being planned in Augusta, GA for anyone in the area who would like to attend. We are planning for the war to take place during the last week of May. Check this post out for more info.

It doesn't have a thread yet(it's barely may for crying out loud), but there's definitely going to be one more YANO before Geddon too... I'm suggesting June 28th, 2 weeks after Nano and 2 Weeks before Armageddon.

I'd be interested, I know there a few other people from washington here on the boards. Also, someone on NerfHQ is hosting a Washington war in Everett. There isn't an official date yet, if you need the link pm me.

Dude, Everett sucks, the diddle rate there is twice the national average, I ain't gonna risk my ass. Besides, Marysville or Seattle have much better parks and other war areas.
