Once again:

A thrown parachute grenade

#99988 Accuracy And Lasers

Posted by Grenado on 18 February 2007 - 03:11 PM in General Nerf

Everybody I know uses very good eye protection, shop goggles, ski goggles, sunglasses, that kind of think, which is why it is OK with us to use lasers.

#99985 Accuracy And Lasers

Posted by Grenado on 18 February 2007 - 02:53 PM in General Nerf

Well, some people (like me) think that lasers are just fun to use. Shadow, you made a good point, however, if everyone is smart and follows the rule of eye protection, we can avoid those icky situations.

#99983 Hasbro Reveals Nerf N-strike Disk Shot (nerf Skeet Shooting)

Posted by Grenado on 18 February 2007 - 02:49 PM in General Nerf

I think that the gun they include with it is kinda ugly... even (dare I say) buzz-bee-ish!
It's like a nightfinder with a downsized plunger shaft that was stuck into a scout body. It's despicable! and unless they have a seriously hardcore original-NF quality spring and barely any AR's in it, the thing isn't going to work.

Dear God, I think you're right! Who skeet-shoots with a pistol anyway?

#99982 1oo' Nightfinder Mod! Well Almost...

Posted by Grenado on 18 February 2007 - 02:47 PM in Modifications

That answers my question. Sniper25, what do you mean, you turned the muzzle upside down?

#99981 Trade Problem

Posted by Grenado on 18 February 2007 - 02:46 PM in General Nerf

Well, I'm just saying that not all of us are good modders. I lost 80$ worth of guns on my first few tries.

#99970 1oo' Nightfinder Mod! Well Almost...

Posted by Grenado on 17 February 2007 - 11:05 PM in Modifications

There is one issue we never really discussed: accuracy. How frequently can you hit a target from 70-80 feet?

#99969 Trade Problem

Posted by Grenado on 17 February 2007 - 10:56 PM in General Nerf

Should have tried to mod them yourself... (right now the word "noob" is repeating itself in my head)

You sir are not very nice. We were all noobs once, and everybody feels that way about their first mod.

#99946 Accuracy And Lasers

Posted by Grenado on 17 February 2007 - 11:08 AM in General Nerf

Can we have pics? I would like to see where you put the laser pointer, and how you attached it there.

#99878 How Do You Remove Tape And Sticker Residue

Posted by Grenado on 15 February 2007 - 08:20 PM in Modifications

For me, rubbing alcohol and paper towel is good, but don't rub too hard or the colour will start to come off.

#99875 Hasbro Reveals Nerf N-strike Disk Shot (nerf Skeet Shooting)

Posted by Grenado on 15 February 2007 - 07:58 PM in General Nerf

you're right, an over-and-under shotgun would be sexy. I like longer barrels with somewhat good RoF.

#99853 Hasbro Reveals Nerf N-strike Disk Shot (nerf Skeet Shooting)

Posted by Grenado on 15 February 2007 - 01:49 PM in General Nerf

Something like the Maverick would be good, six shots, fast RoF, large but it's still a pistol. That's what would be fun.

#99838 Parachute Grenade?

Posted by Grenado on 15 February 2007 - 12:01 AM in Modifications

Do you think we could get some kind of hybrid between this and the Barricade Buster going?

#99790 Parachute Grenade?

Posted by Grenado on 14 February 2007 - 03:19 PM in Modifications

Are you going to sell these?

#99754 Trade Problem

Posted by Grenado on 13 February 2007 - 09:45 PM in General Nerf

Has Starbuck done this in the past? Who is this "working partner"?

#99753 Hasbro Reveals Nerf N-strike Disk Shot (nerf Skeet Shooting)

Posted by Grenado on 13 February 2007 - 09:42 PM in General Nerf

I kind of doubt it, skeet would be good for one or two guns, but any more than that would be overkill on the idea and not be very effective marketing.

#99752 Parachute Grenade?

Posted by Grenado on 13 February 2007 - 09:36 PM in Modifications

Actually, any wide-bore guns would work. Wait, are there any wide-bore guns besides the titan? However:

A thrown parachute grenade that can drop 15 darts on opponents

It's an idea for a thrown grenade, not gun-launched.

#99694 Nitefinder Rifle

Posted by Grenado on 12 February 2007 - 07:55 PM in Modifications

That thing gaveme a case of the boners. It looks like it has a prebuilt speedloader in it so you can quickly switch barrels.

#99689 Dartsmithing Tips Archive

Posted by Grenado on 12 February 2007 - 06:53 PM in Darts and Barrels

So, what do you guys think of using shotgun buckshot as weights? I'm going to try using .410 Remington.

#99661 Dartsmithing Tips Archive

Posted by Grenado on 12 February 2007 - 11:55 AM in Darts and Barrels

Haha, nice. Why do you burn a hole in the bottom of the dart?

#99639 Dartsmithing Tips Archive

Posted by Grenado on 11 February 2007 - 10:23 PM in Darts and Barrels

I was thinking, how do you think that buckshot would work as a weight?

#99464 Battle In The Pines!

Posted by Grenado on 07 February 2007 - 09:01 PM in Nerf Wars

38 hour ride for me and my clan. Oh joy. I guess I can't come, but I could have brought 8+ people.

#99096 Looking For Local Nerfers

Posted by Grenado on 01 February 2007 - 06:39 PM in Nerf Wars

Why screw us/them? If anyone should be screwed its yuou, because you made a very off topic post that didn't add to this discussion at all.

#99095 Lbb Question

Posted by Grenado on 01 February 2007 - 06:36 PM in General Nerf

Forgive me for sounding like a dork, but what does LBB stand for? Where can I get one? Is it any good?

#99059 Science Project

Posted by Grenado on 01 February 2007 - 08:52 AM in General Nerf

As said before, I was planning on following Boltsniper's BS-2 design, only making it so it has interchangeable tanks.

#99037 Science Project

Posted by Grenado on 31 January 2007 - 09:46 PM in General Nerf

Does brass work with gasoline? I know it works with compressed air and CO2.

#99021 Science Project

Posted by Grenado on 31 January 2007 - 08:01 PM in General Nerf

I've got to do a science project for school, and I want to make it nerf related. I was thinking of making a cannon like the BS-2 and experiment with different barrels, darts, and gases, like gasoline, CO2, and compressed air. I'm going to use PVC couplers so I can change the barrels, and a set of valves so I can change tanks. Any suggestions? I'm a high school student.

#98869 "dead Riseing"

Heh, Gamefaqs has four of them.

#98866 Petg Barrel Magstrike

Posted by Grenado on 27 January 2007 - 06:09 PM in Modifications

The only problem I can see right now is with the video. I can't see where the heck the darts went.

#98797 At3k Vs Nf

Posted by Grenado on 25 January 2007 - 04:02 PM in General Nerf

They still have a bunch of 2-packs at the TRU by me.

#98683 At3k Vs Nf

Posted by Grenado on 23 January 2007 - 07:55 PM in General Nerf

I am in the process of rebuilding my arsenal due to my not-so-amazing modding skills. I'm starting with a cheaper gun, so if I break it's not a big deal, unlike my 80$ worth of 3 gun trash in the basement. Should I go with an AT3K or a clip modded NF?

#98532 Boltsniper Scar-n Rifle Bs-8

Posted by Grenado on 20 January 2007 - 04:24 PM in Homemades

Well, I'm canadian so I'll have to order the mag off of the internet. I have a lot of 28 gauge shells because I do a lot of hunting.

#98496 Boltsniper Scar-n Rifle Bs-8

Posted by Grenado on 19 January 2007 - 03:43 PM in Homemades

I can get the mags, won't be a problem. I was just hoping to find an alternative to buying all that brass...

#98490 Boltsniper Scar-n Rifle Bs-8

Posted by Grenado on 19 January 2007 - 10:59 AM in Homemades

Sorry, I know, old thread. But I have a burning question? Are there any stores that will sell the magazines? Can you use 16-20 gauge shotgun shells as shells? If those are too big how about a .410 caliber shotgun? Or what about high caliber rifles? Would those work as shells? I have a burning desire to know, so I can decide whether to make the SCAR or the NTS. Or both! They use the same ammo.

#98460 Is This A Good Price?

Posted by Grenado on 18 January 2007 - 10:06 AM in General Nerf

I don't think they have them at Wal-Mart, and I wish that these things hadn't been discontinued. Now I have to go to a bunch of random thrift stores for a 2k, and possible that for a 3k.

#98249 Is This A Good Price?

Posted by Grenado on 14 January 2007 - 12:46 AM in General Nerf

No. You can probably pick them up for 20$ CDN at your local TRU or target.

#96570 Nerf Grenade

Posted by Grenado on 14 December 2006 - 10:02 PM in Homemades

The tubes won't be sticking out. It'll be about the sive of an overinflated handball. It's going to be a very tight fit, and it won't fall out for the same reason the the darts don't fall out of the front of an NF. Captain Slug, I've tried one of those and I'm trying to get something a little bit different, for better, or worse.

#96566 Winter Nerfing Ideas

Posted by Grenado on 14 December 2006 - 09:45 PM in General Nerf

I live in Saskatchewan. I was thnking if you set up some mats for a maze in a gym it might be a good idea.

#96551 The Cold War

Posted by Grenado on 14 December 2006 - 08:32 PM in Nerf Wars

All of the major wars are happening in the U.S., so I was wondering if we could a CWNO (Canada-Wide Nerf-Out). I live in Saskatchewan, but according to the map, Alta has the most nerfers, plus some BC (this is the Nerfers United Frappr map). Most of the nerfers also seem pretty close to the border.

#96547 Nerf Grenade

Posted by Grenado on 14 December 2006 - 08:22 PM in Homemades

I was wondering if someone would tell me if this would work. I was going to make a nerf grenade out of some SUV innertube with a valve. I can't do drawings as this is purely theoretical and I can't draw at all. It would be a ball of innertube with a valve so you could pump it up, some tight-fitting CPVC or PETG tubes sticking out of it that went right into the air chamber and would use stefans to prevent a pressure leak. You could throw it up high, and on impact the darts would go flying.
