I really don't understand what is wrong with me. Or maybe I'm just being completly honest about ranges. But without plugging my OPRV I only get about 60-70 ft with my modded LBB. Is there something wrong with mine or am I just getting bad range due to not plugging the OPRV? Thanks in advance.

PLugging the OP valve does add a lot of range but you should be hitting around 90' with out it.

What is the length of your barrel?

Is the seal good?

You generally want to use a barrel with the least amount of friction, like brass but cpvc will work.

Follow the mod in the Modifications section and plug the OPRV and you'll definitely hit 120'.

We need more info before we can help.

What kind of barrel?

How do your darts fit in it - loose, tight, sliding?

How long of a barrel?

What are your darts weighted with assuming you're using Stefans?

Micros or or megas?

How did you attach the new barrel if you put one on?

Does it leak at all?

I use a 1/2 cpvc barrel.

My barrel is 12"

I use 1/4 splitshot

Micros

Coupler, but my barrel is epoxied on.

It does not leak at all I have checked many times.

Edit: Wow I just figured out what was wrong. My barrel was angled down. Not by much but apparently it made a difference. I haven't been outside to range test but it shoots a hell of a lot farther in my basement.

How do the darts fit in the cpvc? In my experience alot of darts tend to have a tight fit in cpvc, if this is the case try something that fits your darts a bit looser.

I have tried 2 different darts. Ones that fit tightly in my cpvc and ones that have fit loosely the looser ones tend to fire much further.

For maximum efficiency?

1. Pump up. Count how many pumps.

2. Keep going until you hear a loud "bang".

3. Subtract one pump from the total. Rebuild your air bladder.

There you go.
