Well, I did a big paintjob on a Small Soldiers 500 I had before returning it to the original owner. The is no barrel on it at the time the pictures were took. However it'll probably be something like a brass barrel that would go on it which is nested in the painted piece of CPVC you can see. I'll leave it to the original owner to decide that.

Anyway, before I gave it back I took some pictures of the paintjob I did. It is gold and silver laquer spray mixed in.

Enjoy. This was my first paintjob on a Nerf gun by the way believe it or not.

And my friend's BBB, minus the barrel that fell off. (Going to epoxy it back on later.)

I apologize for my crappy pictures. My digital camera sucks. I really need to get a new one.

Alrighty, I'll throw a few of my guns in here.

First off, my Pump Shotgun, with it's 3 different barrels. Going from top to bottom are 1. My original barrel I use in wars 2. Barrel used for shooting stock darts 3. My double barrel, inspired by Cmdrmack's Bigger Salvo mod.

Posted Image

Second, my Longshot, with a detachable Maglite on the rail which you will hear more about later. I put one of those Homedepot springs along with the stock spring and did the barrel mod SPU-Nerf did. I'm not sure about ranges, but I can't use one hand to prime it because only the side I'm pulling back will go back far enough to catch, while the other drags behind a tiny bit.

Posted Image

And, lastly, the thing I have been most recently working on...

Posted Image

Inspired by Nerfer34's Nitefinder. I wanted something like it, but not a copy. I think I did a good job.

It's a Nitefinder, chopped down to a much more compact size, with a Homedepot spring replacement, craft foam at the end of the plunger head, and a 4-point-something inch brass barrel replacement. The brass is covered in 1/2" PVC and I put a larger piece of PVC over that for a silencer, which is completely cosmetic. And it has that Maglite on the rail which you will hear even more about just a little bit later. This is also my second attempt at a paint job, which, in my opinion, is a huge improvement over the first. I had an inch or two of left over brass, so I made brass ammo holders where the batteries used to be, which I did not take a picture of. I guess you can see a tiny bit of one of them in that picture.

Here's a picture of it with the Maglite detached.

Posted Image

For the Maglite I cut apart that useless Longshot scope thing and took the gray rail piece, scrapping the rest of the scope. Then I found these little orange rings, I think they were pump caps to a couple super soakers I recently attempted to mod. With a little dremeling, they fit around the Maglite perfectly. I gooped those on to the gray rail attachment piece, then slid the Maglite through.

And I made a holster that fits suprisingly well saying I did a poor job on measuring dimensions and cutting the cardboard. It worked great in the war I had a couple weeks ago. Everyone had to either hold their sidearm, try and stuff it in a pocket, or not carry a sidearm at all. I happily stuck my new sidearm in my holster.

Posted Image

And it looks like I need to put another coat of paint on the bottom of the handle there.

Here's what I've got currently:
Tres Pistolitos, all brassed, the old school NF gets 70', and Newer version gets 80'-90' and the SSII gets 70'ish
Posted Image
Unos Rifles, The LongShot has 3rd gen. shot gun grip, AR-15 spring, Carbon style plunger head, 3rd stock position , and a new foresight. The Pump shotgun is coupler modded, as is the BBB.
Posted Image
The LBB is CPVC coupler modded soon to be 1" and 1/2" couplered. The SF is stock, but should be brassed pretty quick here. The SS2 is couplered, and the AT2k has a PETG Breach and 3/4" T grip.

This is my Double Shot. Sawed off, coloured with vinyl dye - the trim is electrical tape. I'm planning a more colourful job on my Rapid Fire Rifle.

Assassin, a little late but that is a sick BBB. I especially like the way you added the ammo holders on both that and your NF. Kudos.

Also, I'm definitely going to put some mav springs in my CFs now. I didn't know they fit.

Sorry for the DP but just finished a paintjob on my 3k "Midnight:"
Posted Image

-- EDIT: Just realized I forgot to paint the show pipe and the stripe behind the pump. They will be silver. --

The picture doesn't do it justice. Nor does this picture, of the "stars" (what else am I supposed to call them?) which you can't really see in the above pic:
Posted Image

Yup. Stock blue->dark blue->black fade. And for those of you who were hearing about the aesthetic scope, I decided it looked better without it.

In order to get the auto-rotate to work, I did have to expand a piece of 2" PVC:
Posted Image

took forever to get the wood glued in there right. But it works great.

FH that is a really nice AT3K. The stock is well-made, and the paint job makes it look really good. I like the black PVC over the turret, it looks neat how you can't see the barrels until the end in the picture. I wonder how it would look with a pump extended out like the AT2K pump...

Thank you very much. I put a lot of time into it and it's nice to hear it was worth it. I don't plan on extending the pump; I will end up putting a flashlight there instead.

And as long as I'm posting again:

That is a black fade on either end of the barrel.

Here's the breach:

Negligible range lost, because the space between brass lengths is so small if not nonexistent. No, I'm not going to measure it for you. It's your standard plugged 2k. Just with a shweet barrel setup.

Some good old school mods and guns. My compliments, it's good to see duct tape again, takes me back...

I especially like the Boondock Saints pistols, and the rope straps on the Titan and Longshot.

Modified my first Titan today. Removed the safeties, added a nested 8-inch CPVC barrel (short enough to still allow the missile to be used), and added an instant-tube fitting and extension to the blast chamber so I can hook this up to the regulated backpack tank I originally made for my magstrike 20.

Here is a collection of pictures of my (mostly) active arsenal.

Note: Background for the photos is my handmade poker table. <3

Posted Image

Here are my two currently active NF's, and my Manta Ray. The cut down NF is CPVC'd, standard peg/AR removals, and fits nicely in that Airsoft holster. I need to reconfigure the inside since I'm only getting like 50'. Damn air leaks...

The other NF has just a simple Crayola Barrel and is usually banded. I consistantly get 65'. This was actually my first mod ever.

The Manta Ray was very simple to mod. I just shoved 4 6" sections of CPVC and hotglued them in there. Gets around 60-70' no problem. I'll eventually try to squeeze more out of it, but for now it works great.

Posted Image

Here are the workhorses of my arsenal. More on the Xbow later. The Longshot has its air restrictors and peg removed, and is brassed. I use converted dart tag darts with it, and they work great. The spring is a DT3 big gun spring I had lying around. It gets around 80'. I need another O-ring, and not sure what else to make it a bit better.

The DTG gun simply has the restrictors and pegs removed. It is currently non-functional cause the makeshift seal I had for it busted, so now it shoots like 15' tops. Once I fix that and brass/CPVC barrel it, it should be quite a force.

The AT3K has the pump plugged, restrictors removed, and is brass barreled with 9/16th's brass. 3 pumps and I get 70+ every time. The only downside is that the brass is slightly heavy, so sometimes the auto-rotation doesn't work. Not that bad, just I need to remember to finish the rotation one out of every 6 shots.

The shotgun is just sawed off. No special mods. I cut it down to look badass, and it's easier to swing around in indoor wars.

Posted Image

The crossbow, alongside my Longshot, are my two main primaries that I switch between. The Xbow has the standard xbow mods done to it. The attached barrel consists of a 1/2" coupler with a small amount of CPVC, and then another coupler attached to that.

The removable barrel is 9/16's brass glued into CPVC. I used to remove the barrel after each shot for standard breech loading, but found out that I was getting the same 80; ranges with my darts if I simply just blew the dart down the barrel. The custom paint job was my first and isn't exactly the best, but it suits me. I'll eventually re do it.

Posted Image

Last but not least, my blowgun. It's just simply 3' of CPVC with a coupler on the end. Works wonders. 85-100' easily depending on how hard I blow. It used to have an ammo holder attached near the coupler, but that broke off. I eventually want to encase the gun in foam and run around the battlefield with a large blowsword. I know, not exactly the best option, but I love trying to block darts anyways.

That's all for now. I'm going to pick up another Longshot and a few more Nitefinders before the weather starts to get really nice here in Cleveland. I have the shell and innards of another Xbow that also need some attention.

Captain Slug. I am also in the process of modding a titan. I'm minimizing it and adding a dual action pump. It's going good so far. I'll have pictures up soon.
