NerfHQ thread

UPDATE: CANO (Cleveland Area Nerf-Out) is Saturday, June 30th from 10 AM to whenever. Probably 4 or 5. The location is Veterans Memorial Park/State Road Park in Parma, Ohio.

Homemades will be restricted, as well as singled Titans and SM5ks. With a little more tree cover growing in by war date, super long range hits will be lessened, focusing more on close quarters action.

We'll play some Team Deathmatch, some Capture The Flag, and hell...maybe even some King of the Hill (second high ground is nice and fun to defend it seems), and whatever else we want.

BRING:

Eye protection of some kind (NOT just prescription glasses)
First aid shit
Guns and ammo (I may have some to loan out but maybe not)
Friends if you can
Money for food and drinks or your own food and drinks
Guns and shit to sell
A digicam and/or DV cam if you have one and feel comfortable bringing it
A good attitude

What kinds of games and stuff we'll play will be determined when it gets closer. If anyone has any questions PM me or post here.

I can't do July. June is going to have DCNO, and possibly Hershfest which I would pick over Ohio, no offense. So, it's pretty much a no for me, sorry.

Isn't PimpDaddy in Great Britain though?

I live in Cleveland, so if we pick a date in enough time for me to request off work (two weeks), I'm there.

Any of the dates work good for me, but the 21st may possibly bring problems for me. I'd prefer one of the other dates over the 21st.

I just found out that the 14th and 21st of July won't work for me. Anyone have a problem with July 7 or 28? I think Pimpdaddy said he can't go in June and Rambo said he could possibly make July 28.

Swingthenerfbat also said he can do either the 7th or 28th. They've got my vote.

7th and 28th seem to be the best-looking ones so far.

I am not sure if I could make it teh 28th anyway. Hershfest might be then, and that would take precedence. However, if there's a date I could possibly make, it'd be the 28th.

Rambo, I'd like to increase your chances of coming but right now it looks like everyone (with the exception of you) is fine with the 7th, and since it takes two weeks for people to give us updates on their status when a new date is proposed, it would be more convenient to just set the date as the 7th. If everyone else said they could make the 28th that would be the better choice of course, but as it is it looks like everyone is in favor of the 7th.
