But more importantly, in the pic it shows the new ammo bag.

EDIT: Did a quick & crappy close up on the bag in paint, but it should still be readable, just look at the new camo darts!

Well that's fucking just about the most moronic thing I've seen lately.

Let's make our reusable ammo system camouflaged so it's actually HARDER to find! I honestly wonder if we're going to be seeing some camo prints on newly released nerf guns. This near-realism N-strike bullshit is getting old: magazines, accessory rails, scopes, stupid "tactical" terminology on all their boxes, and guns that strive to look and feel more and more like real guns. Ugh.

I have no idea how Hasbro is organized, but I would really like to see the dart tag lineup get some love. It just seems to have a way better philosophy, namely that nerfing is a game, not some tactical mission where you have to gear up, slap on all your superfluous tactical accessories, don an 'angry uin113/ice gun pose' and walk slowly through dimly lit corridors while shouting shit like "Clear!" and "Target neutralized!"

Fuck.

I found a good picture of one of the new guns from the fair on the Pop-Sci website: http://www.popsci.co...erf-Blaster.jpg

It's not all that easy finding darts as they are.

The problem is that Hasbro is figuring that realism is what kids want. As long as it sells it stays (and is likely to get worse too).

We'll probably see a nerf equivalent of most military accessories if this gets worse.

I think you guys are overreacting. Those look to be ammo holders as Lion said, not actual darts (they wouldn't put the darts in the holders for the package). However, the camo bag seems silly since everything else Nerf makes is orange, yellow, etc.

At least the ammo bag is practical, I mean you guys bitch because they come out with some plastic accessories which serve no real purpose. Then they try to help and you guys still bitch. Also even if those were darts, since when have you guys used stock darts..... especially outdoors.

Yeah cuz releasing a camo-flavored fanny pack for $10-15 really "helps" us.

While I agree with Fome on some points that the N-Strike line is getting old, I think that we are sorely missing the actual value of the line. The N-Strike line has produced many of the best indoor, night time, and zombie weapons to date. We now have ginormous ammo capacity and high rate of fire guns for our arsenal because of N-Strike. While they may be extremely shitty for outdoor rounds (save the longshot) they have completely revolutionized indoor warfare.

However, I'm not saying that I don't want more powerful guns. Everyone wants powerful guns. But for right now, I would suggest picking your indoor primary while N-Strike is still around. If anything, you should try to enjoy the new game types that it brought instead of bitching about it.

Bookybabora, that wouldn't be a good argument as they don't care if they are helping us or not. All we do is stand aside and if we see something good they manufacture, we pick it up. It's just that they didn't produce anything really good lately.

And Fome, just because you don't like the pack doesn't mean it wouldn't help us. Maybe some will find it useful.

Overall, it doesn't matter if Hasbro is going military themed for us. What matters to us is if those military blasters function positively for us. Just that they haven't yet.

EDIT: Agreed, Mehku.

Geez, did anybody read what was there to be seen in the yellow highlighted area on the top of the ammo bag's box? It says comes with 50 camo darts, which even if it is just a sleeve, the camera is at an angle to the box with the bag in it, showing the ends of the darts well enough that you can see that they do not appear to be covers, like those on the firefly darts.

I was trying to make my arguement be less of "Hasbro is listening to us" and more of some people need complain less and look more on the positive side. Let's face it, Hasbro will never make some line of blasters suited purely for modding so we might as well work with what we get.
