Good News:

I just bought a new car; transportation is no longer an issue.



Bad News: My dad and the step-family are having Christmas early, on account of 2 of the step-children having to leave town. I'm not sure how early they mean, and I have an ominous feeling that it's going to be the weekend prior.

Conclusion: I, and my guests, are still a "maybe."

Also, as I have not participated in a war, what happens to cold nerf guns? I've got this mental image of a thermometer hitting -0.1 degrees and all darts suddenly shriveling up and plastic guns shattering.

You have school on a Saturday?

I start break the day before, the 19th.

It depends if your talking about air guns or Spring guns. Unreinfocred (Not a word) spring guns will shatter due to the now fragile plastic and hard compressed spring.

Air guns should have no difference in performance but the shell will be fragile so don't drop it.

Darts won't shrivel up, they might slightly shrink. The tips however will be extremely fragile and will most likely shatter when they hit something hard. Mine are already doing this.

Darts will also hurt much more on bare skin as your skin will be numb. I would suggest a heavy jacket, gloves, goggles, boots, and a hat.

Your from Ohio, you should know winter is harsh.

I don't know where this 'springers suck int the winter' bullshit is coming from, but as long as you have darts that are snug, springers will work well.

Not totally true either way. I had a NF that only worked when it was cold due to large oring. Other guns work better in warm but not humid weather. Oh and I'm copying boba on this. I'm ready for one hell of a war.

I'll have extras. My Crossbow is now in BLacksunshines possesion. It should be nice from what I'm hearing. So nobody get their hopes up of using the crossbow. Go to Washington if you want to see it in person.
EDIT: I think LYNX should edit "last Ohio war in '08" to "Last war of the year" becuase from what I know it is.
