I'm in. A couple of us are coming all the way from Cincy, OH and are going to make it a weekend. Memorial Day is on Monday, so I think we're gonna hit up DC after the war and see the sights. Should be a bitchin' weekend.

With the advent of the +bow, are SM5k's now legal for use? It seems SM5k's shoot about the same distance, (maybe less) than the +bow, so I'm curious as to whether SM5k's are legal now or not. I ask mainly because if they are, I might have to try to bring mine back from the dead after I go back to WI.

I didn't think they were banned on the east coast. In New Jersey we play with them we also let people use stefan modded titans.

My initial reaction would be to not allow singled Titans or SM5ks on this field, considering the main playing area - "the labyrinth" is so small and encounters are so close. Though with this many people, we may have to seriously make the empty field a large part of the playing area.

Can any of the locals give me a handle on campsites in the area? The closest I know of are the AT shelters near Harper's Ferry, about an hour away. If anyone else is interested in splitting a campsite drop me a PM.

QEdit: Only about 6 hours drive time each way, should be good for me if i get the crap for my car in the next couple days

Edit: the Bitches are back, now to see if my Piece of crap car will survive the drive there and back

AAANnnnd...since i dont plan on hoteling it, i may pop up between rounds at noon/1pm seeing that it's a 5-6 hour drive

I drove by the playing field this morning (around 11:30 Am) and there was a little kids' soccer game going on. The game came fairly close to "The Labyrinth" so let's hope there aren't any soccer games on the 24th.

Can someone find out about the soccer league in the area? As creepy as it is for grown men to be taking an interest in the local kids soccer league, when I came to DCNO a couple of years ago (It may have been at the other location) the place was swarming with kids and soccer moms and we were stuck in a little corner of the field for more than half the day. Does this location have a decent area to play in if the soccer field is off limits? If not, is there a plan B?

At any rate, I find it odd that there was a soccer game going on. I don't remember any field markings there in the field last time we were there so it must've been established recently. At any rate, I'll see if I can find a plan B with Cranky's help. The surrounding area is literally overflowing with potential locations so I doubt we'll have trouble finding a backup.

TWR, I'm pretty sure the Gauntlet has been gutted or it is still under construction. Last time I spoke with Cranky about it, they pretty much demolished the entire layout of what we all remember as our playing area behind the school.

Groove, I'll talk to you about the other possible sites there next time I see you online...which could be awhile if we're both entering exams. And when I return I'll get new photos of each area and confirm which sites are playable.

Sounds good to me. I'll be done with exams come tomorrow, and you have my cell number still, right? I lost yours when I lost my cellphone this past December in a drunken state of confusion involving what I believed to be dolphins. Anyways...

Give me a call sometime when you're done. We'll work out a backup site.
