It's a shame cause this is shaping up to be one helluva war. Oh well I'll see ever one at the LCM Tune-up, Apoc, whenever

I have one 12x24 inch sheet of polycarbonate left.Could somebody bring some 1/8" acrylic sheet to sell me? I have a number of projects at a standstill because I don't have any. Any color is fine, provided it isn't pink.

Thanks guys.

+ I'm going to be spending the next couple days getting my blasters tweaked and primed for this war and the summer Nerf scene in general. I suggest you put aside some time and do the same, because if you're traveling more than 3 hours to this war it would be rather unfortunate if your blasters crapped out on you.
+ Finalize and solidify your plans. If you have not given me a definite yes or no by Wednesday, I will be removing you from the Maybe list. I want to get a full list of players by Thursday at the latest so I can start formulating rounds and gametypes. This is mostly for me to see who is coming and what I'll be dealing with instead of a very vague set of numbers.
+ I'm coordinating with Crankymonky to get some more information on the soccer situation and find a suitable "Plan B" location should this one fall through. Nobody needs to worry, as there are a plethora of schools in the area. And when I say plethora, I mean plethora. So, be cool. Myself and others can provide transit to one of the other local schools should we need to move.
+ A friendly reminder to look at the rules posted on Page 1. I really don't want to turn away people that came to play because they don't have eye protection. There are lots of cheap alternatives to my expensive Ray-Bans such as the orange-tinted Dart Tag glasses or $10 "Gas Station" sunglasses. Do not bring paintball masks or ski masks, as I will publicly mock you and not allow you to play.
Lastly, I will be selling the following blasters at the war. You may PM me to call dibs.
+ Brassed AT2K (17/32" brass)
+ Brassed SSII (needs work)
+ Vortex Tornado (ring ammo included)
+ Stock Maverick (practically NIB, never fired)

Considering the 5-6 hour drive, however, I may be there between rounds if I get there at all, most likely around noon or so assuming I survive the drive there
Count me as a yes
Edit for groove, was typing fast

Laboratory goggles, or just use your glasses if you are comfortable with that. I know a good deal of Nerfers that just use their glasses as eye protection. Ultimately your call on whether or not you want to use your own glasses, but just that I'd let you know that they are an acceptable form of eye protection. No paint ball masks? I have glasses; what am I supposed to use then?
Devious, clean up your posts.

Either via my sister or parents, I don't see why I WON'T be coming. So put me down as a yes. Need to finish this batch of darts... I'll be fielding my Big Salvo with 3inch CPVC barrels, I'm gonna bring some other guns and barrels just in case my Big Salvo and it's config doesn't cut it.

We will have all kinds of spare weaponry available to those who completely screw up their primary.I have to finalize some details with OMC, but provided he can drive me, I'm in. Currently in somewhat of a panic as I try to heavily mod my LS in time for this; we'll see if it works out or not. Otherwise, I'm kind of screwed.
I'm all set. Just need to make more darts since my minimum amount may not be enough considering how many people are showing up.

Keef's mom was to be my ride but she doesn't want to drive.
The possibly still exists that I take a train or someone else can drive me, but I'm scheduled for work and can't miss anymore days.
So in the rare case that I get off of work(people owe me favors) and catch a ride I will be there, if not have fun without me again.

Also, I was looking at a lot, boltbus seems to be the best one. From NYC to Washington DC. Anyone coming through DC?
15 bucks to get there at 10:30.

I'm keeping Skitzo and keef as the only 2 on the "Possible" list as of now since their transportation plans have suddenly changed. If you haven't posted or replied in a while, you'll notice I've removed you from the "Possible" list. If you still have your heart set on attending, let me know.
Skitzo & keef: I wish I could say I could pick you guys up in DC, but by that time I'll already be at the war site getting things squared away and playing the first round. If there was any chance you could get there earlier I could probably pick you up. Slug is around DC area, you might try to barter a ride with him. I hear he accepts McMaster gift cards and offerings of Polycarbonate scraps...

I'm already committed to picking up Ryan from the airport in the morning so I won't be able to pick up anyone in DC on the way. It's time consuming to get in and out of there so if you want someone to pick you up you'll have to Metro to a stop closer to the war itself.
The Rockville Metro stop is very close to the Labyrinth.

The buses to DC typically let out either at Union Station or Gallery-Place Chinatown. From either of those it will take 45 minutes to get to Rockville by Metro.

With Cranky's help, we did some research and found that since it's Memorial Day weekend there are no local soccer games scheduled with the local league. This is better odds for us, but doesn't totally negate the need for a backup site, so we'll have a reserve site if we need to move. If you need my cell number, PM me and I'll PM it back to you.
However, since this is Memorial Day weekend, please allow some extra time for travel as all the crazies will be out on the road. I am leaving extra early to try to be there around 9:15, and I'm sure we'll have people trickle in after the 10am start time. If you show up late, no worries, you can hop in the next round, just be safe when you drive.
Now if you'll excuse me, the Guru is still in pieces and I've gotta re-assemble my SF bindings. I'll give a final update tomorrow.
Skitzo, keef, any word on your situation?
