#98825 "dead Riseing"

Posted by Lancaster on 26 January 2007 - 07:20 AM in Off Topic

I think the NerfHaven search rule might apply to the entire internet. I'm sure there aren't any walkthroughs at all for the game out there.

#98760 Need Computer Help.. Again

What I mean by "there's your problem" is that he is using a Windows product, not a UNIX one.

#97286 Favorite Holidy Gifts

I've never heard of that store. There don't seem to be any in Florida.

Also, Rambo, notice the joke closing tag at the end of my statement.

About 300 bucks in cash and gift cards (75 to dicks...

I didn't know that they made gift cards for that sort of thing.</joke>

The man's name is Ian Fleming. Perhaps you have heard of him?

#96748 Syringe Gun

I guess that's kinda neat...

Way to "accidentally" show that you have a Wii. Wow, you're cool!

but do not have a camera at my disposal to make an adequate post.

Oh what an original, ungeneric excuse. [/sarcasm]

If you want I will post a thorough description of what I've made. I just said previously that Captain Slug needs to start finishing his projects, if not why bother posting, all of his ideas, has he ever actually finished something? Oh, besides the Longshot cocking arm I think not.

What have you done? Once you have actually done something for the community then you can criticize a member who has offered significant contributions to the NIC. CaptainSlug has personally helped me fix my LS, along with may others.

He has no responsibility to you to finish anything, and you have no right to complain. Hopefully once Tailio goes on the warpath he will crush you beneath his mighty size 20 boots.

#96550 Google Patent Search!

This in incredible! A fully detailed cross-section of a BBB. . .LnL...Oh my goodness what a great find. You should consider renaming the links based on the gun.

#96441 Longshot Opinions

Posted by Lancaster on 13 December 2006 - 05:22 PM in General Nerf

Meh, I see no reason to get replacement LS ammo. Converted Dart Tag stefans work just as well with a boost in range.

I'm just interested in replacement clips.

#96440 What Gun Shot These?

Posted by Lancaster on 13 December 2006 - 05:20 PM in General Nerf

I am coming back in the winter so I logged in and saw the topic. I have the gun, it is not fully auto, its semi-auto and very unreliable. It gets 30 feet if you are lucky. It is loud and the stock breaks. I got the gun on EBay about a year ago. It is a pleasure weapon, but it isn't even that fun, because when loading the clips into the gun, the darts fall over. I put a cheap spring into the clip, but if ass rapes the darts. The power switch is also heavy and you have to glue it in the ON position.

Coming back? From what I've seen you have yet to leave. Plus, it's been winter for a couple weeks now.

#96301 My First Nerf Mod... Springs Help?

Posted by Lancaster on 11 December 2006 - 08:23 PM in Modifications

The search function doesn't allow you to search for terms below four letters if I remember right, so searching for BBB would do no good.

You're right. Perhaps "bbb gun" or something with filler would work,

#96299 My First Nerf Mod... Springs Help?

Posted by Lancaster on 11 December 2006 - 07:46 PM in Modifications

Hello. I've been eager to mod a nerf gun for a long time, but just haven't.
But now I have my longshot, and I really want to see what I can do.

There are tutorials out there, the pictures aren't great, but I think I get the gist of the basics.

I know where I can go to get my springs (lowes, home depot...) but I don't know what spring I need.
It is desribed in the forum post as a "BBB" spring, but I think that's an acronym, not an official designation.

Can someone clue me in?

thanks!

BBB stands for the Big Bad Bow, a popular spring action Nerf Gun that was re-released recently. The BBB has a pretty decent spring in it. You can find them at Target for $20. My favourite place to buy springs is ACE hardware, they have a pretty good selection. As for which ones to use, that's gun-specific.

EDIT: Whoops, gulio got there first.

P.S. Next time, just search for "bbb" in the search section of the site.

#95990 Signature Length

Posted by Lancaster on 05 December 2006 - 09:02 PM in Site Feedback

That doesn't exactly answer my question. I'm talking about the actual length of the signatures.

#95974 Signature Length

Posted by Lancaster on 05 December 2006 - 05:35 PM in Site Feedback

What exactly is the limit on signature length? Is it in the amount of characters or the amount of space taken up? I seem to be running into an error message even with extremely short signatures.

#95971 Dual Handled Longshot

Posted by Lancaster on 05 December 2006 - 05:28 PM in Modifications

Interesting take on the common front gun integration concept. I like it.

Pretty much negates your ability to pump-action the gun, but it still is pretty awesome.

Doesn't glueing the front gun onto the underside already do that?

#95963 N-strike Designations

Posted by Lancaster on 05 December 2006 - 04:11 PM in General Nerf

The V is the titan stands for version.

It is version 1.

Wait everyone! Hold everything! Nerfer34 seems to know the answer. JUST LOOK AT ALL THAT CONFIDENCE.

:o Oh my goodness, those ranges.

Well, you've done it again. Excellent work.

#95956 How The Fuck Are You Guys?

Posted by Lancaster on 05 December 2006 - 03:46 PM in Off Topic

The Crossbow rerelease is slated for Dec. 11 of this year. K-Mart exclusive.

The Crossbow is NOT being rereleased. Don't PM me or Talio or Groove about it.

:(

#95944 Casino Royale

Guys. Bond ran through drywall. I think that says plenty.

That was simply incredible. I, and half of the audience, actually "lol'ed" at that. Just the image of the guy jumping through that little hole and then having Bond just slam through a wall was awesome.

#95847 Thrift Stores

Posted by Lancaster on 03 December 2006 - 09:12 PM in Off Topic

No..I think I can see it. Looks like a nerf logo, anyway.

I circled it.

#95806 Thrift Stores

Salvation Army is considered a thrift store. I've never actually seen any Nerf Guns in any, though.

#95542 Casino Royale

Posted by Lancaster on 29 November 2006 - 04:24 PM in Off Topic

I actually liked how there were no laser watches, coin bombs, or super cars (the car was normal unless you consider a tray with a gun in it as a gadget). It took the focus away from the tech and on to the characters and story.

#95412 Casino Royale

Posted by Lancaster on 27 November 2006 - 08:43 AM in Off Topic

A lot of stuff in this post *deep breath*-
1. Is there anything sexual in the movie?
2. Is it worse (sex based) than the other bonds?
3. If no to #2, than what about compared to Die Another Day?
4. There is another movie with "James Bond" in it that is called Casino Royal.
5. The old Casino Royal was british and a spoof of other bonds, but the plot was similar (from what I've read on the net).
6. The old Casino Royal wasn't bad, (Miss Good Thighs).

Okay.... That is pretty much it for a while.

1. Nothing too bad, just some implied sexual activity but nothing is actually shown
2. No
3. Not as sexual.
4. Sure.
5. Yes, is this a question?
6. I haven't seen it.

#95184 Sequels And Prequels

Posted by Lancaster on 24 November 2006 - 05:33 PM in Off Topic

I never meant Saw was scary. I just said its for physcos. Seriously what freak would do what that guy did in the movie. The movies were gross.

I'm not into horror movies but
What does you guys think is the scariest movie?

Maybe I'm weird, but I really enjoyed Saw. On the other hand, I cannot stand milder scenes like the one where Doc Ock kills all those doctors in Spiderman 2.

#95125 Sequels And Prequels

Anyone who says anything bad about anything that Quentin Tarantino was remotely involved in, deserves a bullet in their foot.

Edit: speling!

Wow, a little hostel there, eh?

Bad puns aside, wasn't AVP a flop? Why in the world would they make another?

#95117 My New Puppy

#95054 Casino Royale

Posted by Lancaster on 23 November 2006 - 11:31 AM in Off Topic

I am 14, but my mom (Geddon goers) is really touchy. If it is PG-13 or higher she has to see it first before I can watch it. Still haven't seen Waterboy. Other than that I can only watch movies that are rated PG-13 or R if they are rated that for violence, and thats all.

Hmmm. If I recall correctly, there really isn't anything innapropriate language wise in the movie. The "nudity" is the sides of Daniel Craig's legs during the torture scene. I took my 10-year-old brother with me for crying out loud.
