I have been thinking about this was for some time now. It's getting to be a size where field monitors or "refs" if you will, will need to be present at all times on all games. It's never been an issue of not taking hits before, but a war of this size is just asking for trouble. Besides a clan round or two, I have nothing against completely removing myself from playing in the days events and being one of those field monitors the entire time. I may be getting WAY ahead of myself, but I just want to throw it out there. If we have a few designated people to control the activities, then it will definitely make it more enjoyable for all.

The closest thing to "real life" battles in nerf you are going to find is the civil war. With all the close range and unreliability of blasters like muskets, it's about the same. Anyone want to reenact the battle of Antietam with me? For those unaware, it's the bloodiest day in American History. Look it up.

I'm not going to close this, but I'm not really a fan of this either. People need to understand that the Xbow and Lnl are so popular among vets for a variety of reasons, not just their range. I for one go up against guns that can flat out out-range me. There's a part of the game that so many miss. It's the feel of your gun(s) and how you can play better when you are comfortable with what you use.

Stealthman pretty much hit it. A "Blue Shirt" is now the official name for some annoying as hell guy who comes to the war, barely nerfs, cannot follow directions, and finally when he does, is a TERRIBLE nerfer. It was pretty good. There were some highlights. The 2 major problems though were the absences of skitzo and parkway. That was just bullshit. On the plus side, Two Man Clan had it's unofficial origin today. I'm looking forward to more wars with that clan as well.
