#207025 Wing Suits

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 27 January 2009 - 08:53 PM in Off Topic

I think they use these in Tomb Raider.

#207018 Buzz Bee Shells

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 27 January 2009 - 08:41 PM in Homemades

Well, you colud attempt to make them out of a gluestick and PVC, or you could try to nest OMC PETG inside of 5/8" vinyl tubing with a maverick AR piece in the back.

Rokor is right, check on Snopes.com.

#206760 Clash Of The Coasts!

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 26 January 2009 - 09:32 PM in Nerf Wars

Do you find it funny that you posted russian roluette (sp) as a game type and further explained how to play? That's like telling the new guys to put thumbtacks in micros to shoot at their friends.

#206375 Clash Of The Coasts!

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 25 January 2009 - 06:29 PM in Nerf Wars

Side Note: Russian roulette will be played with my maverick and a thumbtack dart. You can pretty much guess how that works.

What the hell? That had better be a joke.

#205921 Magstrike I Need Help

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 24 January 2009 - 11:50 AM in General Nerf

You might want to consider the use of epoxy putty. It dries to be very tough and hard to break.

#205714 3k Pin Leak

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 23 January 2009 - 05:38 PM in Modifications

You want to apply lube to the pin. Then put goop where the pin meets the base.

#205526 Dartsmithing Tips Archive

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 22 January 2009 - 09:46 PM in Darts and Barrels

It's not like Darth_Tom just posted the exact same thing or anything....

#205469 loser Rifle

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 22 January 2009 - 07:43 PM in General Nerf

Unless that auction is yours, you have just violated a big rule in the trading world. Also there is no such thing as a Sn1per in this hobby. That is why when you correctly type Sn1per it shows up as loser.

#205438 Advice For A Nerfing League

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 22 January 2009 - 06:49 PM in General Nerf

While still on the topic of giving away guns, I usaully only give away guns that don't have any potential to me. Like the recon or sspb.

#204738 Maverick Mod! Best One No Joke

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 19 January 2009 - 03:24 PM in Modifications

Sorry, my computer glitched.

#204737 Maverick Mod! Best One No Joke

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 19 January 2009 - 03:20 PM in Modifications

Not to rain on your parade here but, all you did was single a maverick with a marker. This is generically refered to as a "crayola'd" maverick without a turret. Crayola'd means just about any marker (crayola, roseart, sharpie, etc.) used as a barrel. And what purpose did the shell mutilation serve? You could have used the top bar to stabalize your barrel.

#201665 Magnificent 7

#201091 Photos

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 04 January 2009 - 05:46 PM in General Nerf

A periscope blaster I think. Renegade modified one a while back.

#200691 Doomsayer Question

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 02 January 2009 - 09:45 PM in Modifications

Dude, if you use brass it will cost a lot more than it should, then you would must likely want to nest it for protection from the tarnish monsters. So you would then have 24' of tubing on the end of your weapon.

#200339 What Spring Works?

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 01 January 2009 - 10:04 PM in Off Topic

When I was ten, I could do atleast 15-20 pushups, that is plenty strong enough to prime the weapon.

#200337 Tech Shot Integration

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 01 January 2009 - 10:02 PM in Modifications

Creative, but you could have taken it a step further by rebarreling the pocket blaster.

#200324 The Nerf Schofield

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 01 January 2009 - 09:19 PM in Homemades

Wow, at loss for words. Wow yet again.

#200322 Simple For A Recon

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 01 January 2009 - 09:14 PM in Modifications

But this doesn't seem effective. Why? Because you would have a vertical foregrip that is stationary, then after you fired you would need to increase the hand travel to prime the weapon. This would lower the ROF, and because the recon is primarily an indoor weapon, you would be wasting time fiddling with it.

#200297 Nerf Recon Ar Removal

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 01 January 2009 - 07:57 PM in Modifications

You probably have it set slightly off. This is a regular problem for me.

#200140 Best Stock Nerf Darts

#200023 Air Tank Smoke

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 31 December 2008 - 05:08 PM in General Nerf

It's not smoke, it's water vapor. The rapid pressure changes converts some of the air into vapor.

#198365 I Hate Some Employees

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 23 December 2008 - 04:27 PM in General Nerf

For those of you who remember the Madagascar movie, follow the penguins' advice. "Smile and wave boys, Smile and wave."

#198336 I Hate Some Employees

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 23 December 2008 - 03:39 PM in General Nerf

This is why I'm glad for my boyish looks. But if you don't care about price, you could order from the magical internet.

#197840 Are We Nerfers Nerdy?

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 21 December 2008 - 07:44 PM in Off Topic

I would consider this a hobby. Anybody who plays video games in my eyes is a nerd. That would put us all on a level playing field, but then in order to make themselves feel better, they call the far superior and more intellectual people nerds and or geeks. This is really just a self comfort thing. *bangs head against desk* " that counselor is getting to my head!!!"

#197481 Very Simple.. Water Gun Mod...

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 20 December 2008 - 02:34 PM in Modifications

I thought of that but could not get it open and what would i use for a catch??

How about a clothespin trigger?

#197469 Very Simple.. Water Gun Mod...

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 20 December 2008 - 02:05 PM in Modifications

I think that this has more potential as a springer. The sealy is perfect, and it has a large plunger tube.

#195826 Making A Magstrike Pistol

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 13 December 2008 - 10:56 AM in General Nerf

the magstrike cannot use a PVC airtank without heavy modification.

#195734 Has There Ever Been A Successful Airtank?

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 12 December 2008 - 09:27 PM in Homemades

Because the materials used wouldn't be able to work as planned, they would leak out all the air.

#195713 Pistol Tommy 20 Mod (no Writeup)

#195508 Help On Pvc Size

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 11 December 2008 - 06:44 PM in Homemades

Ok, 1/2'' CPVC has an OD of around 5/8 of an inch. 3/4'' Sch.40 PVC has an ID of around .96

So just convert and you have your answer. Those darned plumbers trying to fool us with their odd sizing of pipes.
