It was my understanding that guns that shot streamlines could only shoot streamlines without modification. But my stock Recon can fire taggers. My questions are: Is this supposed to happen? Is this general knowledge? Am I just an idiot?

Tagger Shooting Recon

Dual Reactors
03 May 2009 - 07:49 PM
This mod was spawned off of OfAllTheNerf's reactor mod to shoot stefans.
Tools
-Saw
-Philips screw driver
-hot glue gun
Materials
-Reactor x2
-1/2 PVC pipe
-Patience
So first! start off either doing this mod--> This mod, which retains the ability for you to play with balls, or the quick way, which does not.
The Quick Way:
Remove all the crap in the front of the gun. (the large spring, and the orange thing. I'm a poet and I know it)
Then open up the gun and take out the air restriction so it will look like this:
The put hot glue on the end of some PVC pipe and put it in the orange tube. Look down the PVC pipe and line it up with the end of the plunger tube.
and then glue it to the edge of the barrel
Now you can shoot micros. Yay. now moving on to the better part.
Okay now cut off one of the reactors' handles completely and one like this:
Now epoxy/hot glue them together (I used hot glue cause thats all I had )
Now this last part is dependent on whether or not you want both barrels to fire together or to be able to fire them separately.
If you want them to fire separately STOP
If you want them to fire together glue a piece of 1/2 PVC in between the two barrels. Be sure not to glue it so far back that you cant pump it.
and you are DONE!
Accuracy is terrible cause the gun moves so much when in use.
Range is about 90' with stock taggers, this is with an unknown angle of fire because of the way the gun fires.
Some of you may have noticed that the lower gun on my set up is smaller, this is simply because I had ran out of 1/2 PVC and the was the longest piece I had laying around. So I had to minimize it to make it possible to load. Also the glue wasn't very strong so I wrapped duct tape between the two orange tubes to make it stronger.
Edit: Resized pictures, and I apologize for the blurry pictures my camera isn't very cooperative.

Single Shot Mav

Hey, Finally entered the Haven, so here is my contribution.
Tools you will need
-Philips screw driver
-saw of some sort to cut down the plastic
-hot glue gun
Materials
-.5 pvc (1.5in of it)
-Crayola magic marker.
First, get your Maverick and remove the turret.
Next cut off the front half of the shell where the turret would normally be
like so
At the end of the plunger tube (where the air exits the gun) hot glue a 1.5in of .5in PVC.
Then put glue on the outside of a crayola marker barrel and slip in into the PVC
The final product
Ranges
Max range.........60ft
Effective Range..45ft
Accurate range...35ft
Many of you are going to say "Why not just buy an NF". My answer to that question will be- "one of my friends dropped my stock Maverick and cracked the turret through one of the barrels so this is what became of the rest of the gun."
