The only thing I've done is open it and look at its internals. The one problem is that the taggers stack slightly unevenly in the clip, but they still all fire. the reason for the uneven-ness is because they have larger heads than the streamlines

First off I would like to complement you on how fucking badass that looks. Secondly, major props on going through with it after ANF posted his. Lastly, unlike ANF you posted a write-up which makes you more eligible for the mod contest (Sorry ANF, but its true).
but I thought with the spring more compressed from the barrel shortening, it might get slightly better range. That theory still needs to be tested though.
The spring does not power the gun, its only purpose is to keep the balls pinned up against the end of the tube (heheh) to create a seal when you pump. Otherwise shortening is just your preferance
