For the Island you're better off getting into Airsoft. That at least has a community.
You should join the BCNA Nerf facebook page, i think there's a few island folk on there, if you can't ever make it to the mainland.
IF you do swim over at somepoint, you could probably get a ride to the event and back to somewhere a bus can take you to the ferry.

You got the pronunciation right, but it's spelt UZI, an Israilie sub machine gun. Built like a tank, and simple as all hell. If he could increase the range we could upgrade it to a light carbine.
