The best thing to do is try. If you screw up you learn from it and wont make that mistake again. I suggest you just tinker around with you guns. I all ways keep a white porcilin bowl near me to put screws etc. in that way i dont lose anything. i also dont throw anything away, that tech target you tossed has some useful stuff you could reuse in future projects. So just explore and take risks i garentee it will pay.
