Sounds like a good idea. Yet almost seems to me like it would be like the cosmetic barrels on the Longshots and Recons, meaning it would allow the stefans to bounce around in the barrel a little bit. But if someone didn’t have the ability to make a lot of stefans then this would be a good option for them to be able to switch off.

Yes he could do that if worst came to worst. He could try combining the idea of the normal trigger and a key-ring trigger. You could place a small pin on the back of the mav trigger that would hold a small key-ring which would pull the pin to the air tank after then turret had enough time to get into place.
Something like this, where the blue is the pin, and the black is the key-ring and line.

Yes you could. You would have to rig up a way to have the trigger run off a remote, but this could be done with a small electric actuator with a remote switch since you already have a power source. Only problem is it wouldnt really be all that effective unless it was covering something similar to a ally-way. Yet it would still scare the hell out of someone if they did not know it was there.
