OK,
Here's the first half of my admittedly long and drawn out video write up that I made for our brass breach kit we developed for the Elite Alpha Trooper.
I've cut and trimmed it everywhere, but the detail needs to be there for people who want to do this mod.
Of course I have to do range testing, but it's raining heavily where I am at the moment and the family won't come out in the weather to film me shooting Nerf blasters.
What I can say is this thing is firing shots well in excess of 100 feet, slightly angled, fired from chest height. Easily, regularly.
I am being careful and conservative in my statement there, video and tape measure will show the exact distances.
Ebays got me hobbled for some reason at the moment and I can't do any new listings anyway, so I think I'll get the range test video up before I list the kit anyway.
It fires some darts better than others, but chambers them all and fires them all the same.
Anyway, here's the first half for your consideration:
Please excuse my funny accent, I'm one of those foreign types.

About Me
Australian Nerf Modder. Kind of like the guy in the Bond movies who makes all his weapons, only uglier and less polite.

Making Stefan Clips

Obviously this is a product I'm plugging, but the video here is a fairly extensive video write up of how to convert clips for stefans.
With some of the new breach systems I'm developing, I had to start using stefans, which I've avoided until now.
One of the problems I encountered was poor dart feeding with the ROF's and tight tolerances I was trying to achieve, so I made this little set to improve the quality of my converted clips.
My videos are a bit boring I guess, but give a thorough overview of the process from start to finish.
Hope this is of use to you.

Brass Breach Stampede

Hi All,
Haven't played with toys for ages, but have recently got an excellent new man cave and some new equipment.
Check this out.
Still fine tuning the design so this isn't a write up, but it's almost good to go.
I started off trying to do my own Xplorer style breach, which I did but didn't like because it wasn't airtight and there wasn't enough gain for the effort.
Basically it's a kit where you only have to cut 2 tubes to length, and cut the bolt (but not as easy as it sounds).
The rest screws in to existing fixing points.
The kit will have all sorts of bits, including a pusher/bolt alignment tool and a jig to drill your clips (to convert them to stefans) perfectly.
This thing hammers, but is very dart particular.
It's been splitting some types, but one type in particular works well.
Hope you like it.
Cheers,
