Usually you make tightening rings with a dulled-edge pipe cutter.

Thank you.

I don't really undestand why General Cole is making articles of clothing with my name on it. First it frightened me, but after a few hours I got over it. It seems obvious that General Cole is hoping to have sex with me.

In case anyone in Canada is reading this, They just started selling the RC2 pump action shotgun at Bass Pro shops in Vaughan Mills in Vaughan. $34.99 Plus tax. It comes in a camouflage box and it also comes with a target poster to shoot at. Apparently it is a Bass Pro shops exclusive.

After officially using this gun in a Nerf War, it was amazing. The ease of loading darts into the barrel, as well as being able to get multiple kills before I bowed out myself, I will stand by my original comments of this gun as being 'on par or even better than the eyes of fire'

I had so much fun using this gun! The sound of a shotgun being loaded is amazing! It brought a lot of doom on my oppents.

Yep, even though I only used it for a round, it FUCKING RULED! Now I know what I'll be working on for the war that I'm hosting in the spring, more than enough time.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. A good nerf gun is like a good woman. It shouldn't require extra lubrication.

You will not be sorry with the purchase of this gun and proper mods! I did not really keep count of how many kills I got throughout the day, but it definetly outnumbered my deaths. Make sure to make a lot of darts forusing this gun!

I too got to use it and my only suggestion for improvement is to put an extension spring on the pump handle so that it gets pulled to the forward most position rather than needing to be firmly pushed forward to complete the advancement of the turret.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

Mine arrived today and I'm really excited about it. This is the first modification that made me want the gun enough to actually buy it. I haven't decided if I want to keep it as a mega-shooting gun, or go to micros.

We'll see what I decide....

A couple questions, as I am preparing to try this out, and want to make sure not to screw up, that I have everything, etc. I'd like for Forsaken Angel to reply, but anyone else who has done the mod, please dont' be afraid to help me out a bit.
1) What did you use to/how did you sand down the orange plastic?
2) For step 4, did you use another guns rotaing arm to reinforce it? Did you ever find out if it worked without?
3) What type of lube did you use, and I acorrect in assuming the lube was both to make the hotglue not stick and to lube up the rotation?
4) The 'industrial' spring, do you know what you did use? Would the AR spring traditionaly added to an LS's plunger be an ample/acceptable replacement to it?

1) Dremel cutting wheel.
2) Look closer next time.
3) The lube was only to just prevent the hot glue from sticking to the parts I didnt want it to stick to. I wiped down the hot glue after. You dont want that lube getting on a dart and then going in a barrel.
4) It was from a box of industrial springs I bought. Dimensions and sizes are beyond me. I go on size and feel. The new spring has to comfortably fit inside/outside the existing spring.

I don't know, I thought this was pretty flashy. It's got a fucking painted skull on the front, how flashy do you want it? If he gave it a brown and grey paintjob with a stone pattern or something, it would look even better, though.

Uh dark colors arent flashy. He could have put lights or some shit, I dont know. It wasnt as flashy as "Eyes of Fire". But the thing is you dont need to be flashy in a war. So leave it as that, not stylish but functional.

You are talking about flashy right shorty? Not flaming Homo? Come the fuck on... Lights? Please give me a break...

First off, Shorty mentioned lights because they were used in the Eyes of Fire mod. Second, you didn't need to be an ass and flame people who posted their comments over a month ago, just to say "good job."

How's the gun standing up to the durability test, Angel?

I like flashy and I think that the skull on the front was the only bells and whistles it needed.

As far as durability goes, I built 2 Doomsayers For Hell Before Halloween. The one for myself as posted in the video. As well as another for the Cardiac Kid.

The Doomsayer for The Cardiac kid was modified just like the write up and functioned without a hitch.

My Doomsayer was bolstered with strength beyond the guns original write up.

However it was too much strength.
Doomsayer broke in the last round.
Something happened with the trigger.
I believe the screw peg that the trigger sat on broke. If that is the case I can easily repair it and I will also tone down the power a bit. I have until next spring before I decide to use it again.

Unless of course the giant game of Assassins kicks in sooner.

I have a question. I modded a LS as my first gun (BBB spring added, no air restrictors removed.) It works fine. Do you think that I am capable of doing a version of this mod? It looks really cool and not too hard but my local bass pro shops charges 32$ for it so I don't really want to attempt it if I am going to just end up throwing it out.
Thanks.

No offense, but if you can't drill the AR's out of a LS, I don't think you can do this.

Work on your skills and attempt it when you are ready.
If you can follow the instructions you should be fine.
To be honest one of the hardest parts was getting the rubber plunger head back on.

If you do attempt to do this send me some pm's and I will help you but be prepared to show me photos.
