Usually you make tightening rings with a dulled-edge pipe cutter.
Thank you.

After officially using this gun in a Nerf War, it was amazing. The ease of loading darts into the barrel, as well as being able to get multiple kills before I bowed out myself, I will stand by my original comments of this gun as being 'on par or even better than the eyes of fire'
I had so much fun using this gun! The sound of a shotgun being loaded is amazing! It brought a lot of doom on my oppents.

A couple questions, as I am preparing to try this out, and want to make sure not to screw up, that I have everything, etc. I'd like for Forsaken Angel to reply, but anyone else who has done the mod, please dont' be afraid to help me out a bit.
1) What did you use to/how did you sand down the orange plastic?
2) For step 4, did you use another guns rotaing arm to reinforce it? Did you ever find out if it worked without?
3) What type of lube did you use, and I acorrect in assuming the lube was both to make the hotglue not stick and to lube up the rotation?
4) The 'industrial' spring, do you know what you did use? Would the AR spring traditionaly added to an LS's plunger be an ample/acceptable replacement to it?

Uh dark colors arent flashy. He could have put lights or some shit, I dont know. It wasnt as flashy as "Eyes of Fire". But the thing is you dont need to be flashy in a war. So leave it as that, not stylish but functional.I don't know, I thought this was pretty flashy. It's got a fucking painted skull on the front, how flashy do you want it? If he gave it a brown and grey paintjob with a stone pattern or something, it would look even better, though.

No offense, but if you can't drill the AR's out of a LS, I don't think you can do this.I have a question. I modded a LS as my first gun (BBB spring added, no air restrictors removed.) It works fine. Do you think that I am capable of doing a version of this mod? It looks really cool and not too hard but my local bass pro shops charges 32$ for it so I don't really want to attempt it if I am going to just end up throwing it out.
Thanks.
