That one with weights in a phone was on The Office. But since i'm on that topic, there are some others on that show worth mentioning.

Pretendonitis: humming a really high note, the goal was to make Dwight go to the ear doctor, but if that doesn't work it can still be pretty annoying.

The other one I thought of was kind of like the clock thing. You take someone's cell phone, hide it in the cieling/tape it under chair and call it over and over. The cieling is probably the best choice. I wish I had done this when I found a phone at a party. I knew the owner, but I couldn't find the number.

My high school had a big sign next to the main office dedicating the school to someone whose name was almost identical to mine. Furthermore, the letters were removable. If I hadn't had second thoughts about a prank that involved leaving my name on the wall right next to the main office, I would have done the obvious thing.

I'm sure you would need an incredible amount of dye for this, but it has always been a fantasy of mine to color the swimming pools the colors of our rival school, they wouldn't really suspect anyone at my school because of the rival colors and its easy just to pour dye in when no ones around... and if an unsuspecting swimmer happened to jump in he/she would be colored for weeks...

Now THAT would be funny as long as it wasn't during swim season. Using the other school's colors is a nice method of misdirection.

Theres always the classic of releasing two chickens or sheep. You label them with 1. and 3. They spend the rest of the day looking for number 2!

Get four (4) pigs and write the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 5 on them. Let the ink or paint or whatever the hell you use to write with dry and grease them up real good with lard or KY for the more intiment pranksters. Release in your school and let the admin chase pigs all day. When they get all 4 of the lubed porkers caught, they will spend the remainder of the day looking for number 4.

Way to read through the thread.

On topic, my senior year, some idiots in my class (not me thankfully) put a ladder on the school and climbed in through an open window one night. They then proceeded to take all the books out of everyone's locker and just throw them on the floor. I wasn't amused at all, but what was amusing is that our high school was located right on a busy road, and the idiots left the ladder there and the window open. So naturally, the cops saw and arrested them.

Common mistake. Try something with a laser pointer. A guy in my math class was pointing it at the teacher when he wasn't looking today, that was funny. (I'm in high school, I don't think anyone in college would try that)
