I find myself looking forward to Buzzbee's new lineup almost as much as Nerf's, so we still have that to look for.

A little off topic but, BuzzBee is releasing a new line?

50 bucks, a wall plug and it shoots disks?

Maybe good for aim practice, but other than that it's too expensive.

Well, I don't have any proof that BuzzBee has new items, but judging by their release times, I'd say we're due for something new soon.

I'm bummed. I don't know about shelling out 50 smackers for a pistol.

I really thought there was going to be some kind of long-gun release, more sportsman oriented than mil-sim.

Oh well, life goes on. It's a nice looking NiteFinder-ish pistol, though.

Looks like a re-vamped NF with a Crossfire-style ammo holder and a remote control on top for the disk launcher. Not quite what I think anyone would pay for, here at least.

P.S.: Thanks for the pic clarification, Piney.

There is no way I am paying $50 for that. Maybe if they had just stuck a longshot with a new paint scheme in there with the skeet shooter. I would pay full price, but I have enough pistols. Release a new primary springer!

I can see each TRU only stocking one a peice and when they need to reorder, the guy on the phone will be like " I know, someone actually bought one!"

The object mounted on top of the gun is not a red-dot sight but the wireless controller for the skeet launcher. I'm curious to get one, even though it is $50, I will need it for the collection.

That's strange they put a low RoF gun with that set... I'm not exactly sure how these skeet shooters work, but it looks like you press a button, and disks shoot out? If that's just a regular NF with ammo holders, then you'll only get one shot off before all the disks fly out, pretty much useless. Owell, hopefully they'll release another gun, not just this thing.

I hope thats what the new NF will look like. It looks sweet, just not $50 sweet.

They kind of mixed a crossfire, scout and an nf... I would only buy it if it was like 20$ cheaper and had better internals than an ix-3. Hopefully they will release something better for the Dart Tag line. I hope it's not the only n-strike release though because no one is going to buy that thing.

50$ bucks for a skeet shooting nerf gun. Blah! 50 bucks is way to much, unless the gun is made of stainless steel! Funny thing is after reading this, I had a dream last night were I bought one of these.....Of course it was huge in the dream, about the size of 3 longshots. ;)

I hope it's not the only n-strike release though because no one is going to buy that thing.

I hope not either otherwise this will be a stinky year for Nerf.

On the plus side, it seems that NF has room in the front to put a LS clip, if one decided to sit down and make the NF work with it.

I have a couple ideas for how to make it work, but I really don't know about 50$ for that thing.

I think it'd be simpler to just use a simple breech deoderant clip, though. Of course, you can just do that on a stock NF...

For maximum efficiency?

1. Pump up. Count how many pumps.

2. Keep going until you hear a loud "bang".

3. Subtract one pump from the total. Rebuild your air bladder.

There you go.

Dude that thing looks sick. I'll definitely pick one up, but ONLY 1. I hope they put that out individually.

It looks like thedisk shooter fires from the top. I wonder if it can be turned horizontally and used as a sentry. Hopefulyl they won't put in something to prevent it from firing in any other position.

Yeah like the Titan. But we modded that to shoot in all directions :)

I just happened to think about a crappy plastic baseball pitching machine I had when I was younger. The balls had different patterns in the balls that made them spin different. That might be the case with this and yet another problem to start considering. It would be just too easy to hold your gun where you know it will be. Randomization would be key for this products successful sales.

Maybe there's a large slit in the top, where a disk could shoot out of at different angles. I'm guessing that's probably what it will do.

I really hope the price of this thing drops. The NF-like pistol it comes with looks awsome, and I like the idea of a remote mine sort of thing. That could add some intensity to assault or CTF games.

Maybe Hasbro should read this and reconsider the price. :D

You never know that may not be the final set price it may change upon release. You won't see me buying this thing even if its 29.99$.....This is a total gimmick.

Who knows, hasbro might create a whole new line of n-strike skeet.
There's still a chance they'll put out long rifles or shotguns, with or without the disk launcher.

I kind of doubt it, skeet would be good for one or two guns, but any more than that would be overkill on the idea and not be very effective marketing.

I say that they put a faster firing gun in with it. I mean, the NF is a great gun, don't get me wrong there, but theor sales would go up to customers if they had a gun sold with it that had faster firing rates. They would have mad customers because of them losing darts all the time, but they would sell darts better too.

Agreed.

I think a gun similiar to the Blastfire would be perfect for this. Either that or some kind of revolver-type gun. Maybe even a pump action gun would fit nicely.

Something like the Maverick would be good, six shots, fast RoF, large but it's still a pistol. That's what would be fun.
