Perhaps it's a little early to be talking about the next Armageddon, seeing that people are still healing from the last one. But maybe that is the best time to bring it up, while it is still fresh in everyone's mind. I myself will be in California late this July, maybe very early August. When would it work for people to have another? I would love to bring some guns with and come Nerf with you guys.

So, let's see what we can get rolling.

I think it would be a YANO, and I think I might be able to make it.

Yea Armageddons happen once a year, ever summer and are (usually, ahem) when one or more of the Horsemen fly out. This year we had to settle for Groove. YANOs (formerly LANOs) however are every other month, therefore the next one will be in August. I believe, and Cxwq will have to correct me on this, that we are tentatively thinking second weekend in August would be good. I myself will be busy or out of town the last two weekends in August. Stay tuned here for more info.

If however you're going to be in town before that, just let us know on the boards ahead of time and we can probably get a small, impromptu war going.

YANO on the other hand, will very likely be happening the second Saturday of August.

Don't mind Spoon, he's just upset that Vacc didn't make good on all those promises involving handcuffs, leather bustiers, and glow-in-the-dark Virgin Mary figurines.

Shit. Looking at my calendar for Saturdays in August, I'll be busy the 9th and the 16th. Is a Sunday possible? Or perhaps the 2nd or 23rd or 30th?

Edit: If a date other than the 9th or 16th is chosen I'm definitely in. Will be driving myself for the first time around

Lets hear everyone else's problem days.

Spoon, can you look at a calendar and tell me exactly which days are bad? There are actually five Saturdays in August: 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.

I would like to avoid the first weekend simply because it's so soon and I know some people need a bit of advance notice for rides and stuff.

Hey, I never set a deadline on those promises. Spoon can live out his fantasies next year if I got the dough.

Anytime is good for us. I'll have to talk to the crew, but I'm pretty sure Sam, Mark, and Toj are open for most of the summer. Mark may have soccer, I'll have to check.

If Mr. Box is busy those other Saturdays, could the 2nd be considered? It is relatively soon, but it still gives us 3 weeks. Not to mention, it would increase the likelyhood of my being able to make it, which is something that I would enjoy!

I'd like to see more of the SM crew make it out for this war. We haven't really seen any of you guys since last summer. I think Zach is the only one who's on the forums here however and he mentioned possibly being out of town for the next war.
