So are you going to grace us with a picture of this creatior? Or are we just going to have to sit here and wait?
And I'm not looking for compliments or anything, but did anybody else happen to watch the trailer? Any helpful advice/comments/snyde remarks (okay, forget that last one...) I might be able to hear? Thanks!
Seijin...I completely forgot about that. 4 at a time...sheesh. And you can still throw them and grab more.
NOT FAIR!

NO HOMEMADES
Um, west coast rules are simple. 5 hits. None of which can be in consecutive fashion. You get hit ONCE, and you have 20 secs (or so) of dead time. Than, you count down out loud, and yell your in again. DO NOT come in while near someone, go by you teammates and count back in (If you count in right next to someone and start shotting someones back, and annoy me or anyone else. I will be forced to take you aside, and beat you. And trust me, none of the people here will help you, and will all say they saw nothing. Clear?)
And here is the difference between west and east. Over here if you get shot consecutively with an auto, it only counts as one hit, because your 20secs start from the time of the first dart hitting you. Over on the east, if someone toasts you with a PC, your out for good. Get it?

Actually, the Jersey crowd rarely ever plays East Coast Style. I'd say about 99% of the battles I've been in were under West Coast rules.

O...wow...thats slightly ironic and sad, since its named East Coast Style. I blame VACC for it. Just for the sake of blaming VACC.

I think the people who use East Coast hit rules most are probably REN/LRC (all the SENO participants, etc.) down in Alambama/Georgia. But I could be wrong.
Well, I suppose that it won't too hard to adjust to playing here, then. All you've gotta do is familiarize yourselves with the grid, and you'll be good to go.
I know I've asked about this before, and (other than a little joking) didn't really get an answer. Is Spoon around at all? Still haven't seen a post from him since before the actual war, he didn't show up, we didn't get ahold of him...
I mean, we've already got Rawray temporarily out of commission. Does anybody happen to know anything about Spoon?

There's really no one to blame but your mother, father, and a bottle of captain morgan's.

Now we have squirrel-spawned foam-based force-lightning.
Your older DBF quote regarding squirrels as "...little demonic fuckers!!!" couldn't be more true now.
Good for you, this is not. Make a choice, you must.

The fact that you've spent this much time playing with squirrels suggests that the opposite sex is out of the question.

You made a trailer........I'm stupified

"To dull the senses or faculties of"
-or-
"To amaze; astonish"
I wouldn't think that one would find it all that "amazing" that a person can pull off such a freaking sweet video and still manage to have time for the ladies ...
*sigh* But you know, I've been wrong before.
Maybe some of us have it, and some of us just don't ...

I wasn't in any way, suggesting that you didn't know what you had said. However, I wasn't sure how to interpret what point YOU were trying to get across to me. It was myself who wasn't aware of what you intended to say.If I hadn't known what it meant, why the hell would I have used it?
I wasn't trying to get under your skin at all. And believe me, I've got enough to worry about without trying to start a rivalry with YOU.
I never met a nerfer whose ass I couldn't kick, and I don't plan on setting a precedent now
I don't doubt that for a moment. At the same time, I very much look forward to meeting and nerfing with you in the event that you are able to come out here this July.
I understand your not wanting people to talk shit to you about how much they're going to kick your ass, only to have them hide in the corner when you arrive, and then come back out when you're safely on the other side of the country again. I wouldn't want that either.
So I'm going to make a final statement here and now, and drop this little trade-off we've been having.
I have heard plenty about your abilities on the field, and I am aware that you are not in the least bit worried about some little dumbfuck High-Schooler living in Southern California who plays with nerf guns. Making an enemy with any one of you is really the last thing I want. I'll admit, I've thrown in a few sarcastic remarks for the heck of it, but I have never expected any of you to "cower at my confidences".
I just hope that if and when you all make it out for Armageddon this July, that you won't take me or any of the other guys over here whom you haven't met or nerfed with before for granted. All I ask is that you consider us competition just as much as any other nerfer on this side of the country, because while you tell us not to be surprised if you don't cower at our confidences, don't expect me to either. I'm not loaded with comebacks or anything (as I'm sure you've already discovered...lol) but I intend to show up the morning of Armageddon, and play to win. Nothing more.
I've heard about you (VACC), the other horsemen, the members of the LCM, and the members of the LGLF for years, and long before I joined the community. I was reading through VACC and Spoon's old websites long before I new Nerfonline, Center, HQ, or Haven existed, and it wasn't until two years ago that I finally joined up. I looked at Spoon and the New Jersey nerfers (no offense to Cxwq; didn't know you existed at the time) in the same way a fifth-grader looks at professional sports stars. Simply put, I had a game I loved, and YOU were the best in the world. To think that I now have a chance to play against those same people I spent hours reading war stories about and looking through war photo galleries of all those years ago is, for lack of a better term, thrilling.
So when the East Coast group comes out, all I ask, is that we all have the best time possible, play our best, and be able to talk about all the fun we had in a recap on the forums, rather than resorting to trash talking when all have gone home.
Say whatever you like. I know that there are no hidden meanings in what I've said. No sexual preference jokes, no twisting my words. You all know exactly what I've meant, and there's no reason to try to draw out this little discussion any further.
I mean absolutely NO challenge or insult to anyone. But, like I've said earlier, I want us to be able to meet the morning of Armageddon able to smile and shake hands, rather than being at each other's throats. I'll admit, sometimes I tend to take nerfing as a competetive game a little bit more seriously, but that's because I have high standards to live up to. I grew up hearing about the "legends" out in NJ and here in CA, and until I've played with them, I'll never know if I measure up to my cheesy little childhood dreams. Which is just one more reason, if any of you (VACC, OMC, Evil, Shindig, Kuhlschrank, any of you) are unable to attend, for me to eventually get myself out to your side of the states.
On a lighter note, this kinda makes you guys feel a bit old, huh? You guys were "famous" (in my mind, anyway...) when I was still in early elementary school...lol.
I eagerly look forward to meeting you all this July.
Yours in Foam,
-Falcon

That said, the forums are the place to talk shit, cause as anyone who's nerfed with me will tell you, it's not gonna work too well in real life, I'm just too god-damned friendly. I wanna make it out there, and if I do I only intend to have fun. I don't worry about winning or showing anyone up, I'm kinda past that. So don't worry about my attitude on the forums, it's more out of habbit than anything else. I just hope I can meet all the new blood, and a few of my old friends come july, and kick a little ass in the process.

Is Armageddon still on - and - are the NJ folk coming down?
The location on page one is about an hour away from me. This would be my first Armageddon in two years now.

About the NJ folk, I won't even get started on who appears to be coming...but it looks like at least 3-5 people intend to.
Either way, you should come.

One month and counting as of today! Get your affairs in order...all that good stuff.
Still no sign of Spoon yet (which, I'll have to admit, has me a bit worried about the guy...) and Cxwq hasn't posted in awhile. I'm assuming as the date comes closer he'll hop back on again, since from what I've heard he's been pretty busy with work and other stuff, so no biggie. But if anybody happens to hear from the struggling film director in cutoff sweats, kindly remind him about Armageddon.
My group's attendance will be just about completely full. Our list right now is looking like this:
Falcon
ACE
Angel of Death
Apollo
Chronic
Speed
Sputnik
Dorito
Snake
Sasquatch
Sage
Panda
Akai
Churro

About the girlfriend, you won't be alone, so if she decides she doesn't want to play or something, there will be several other females who aren't playing who will be there for her to "chat" with.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Not sure if I can add mine to that mix. When I asked her if she wants to come, she said,"We'll see," which I am taking as a no for right now. But I'm gonna try to get her to come. I can gaurantee that she won't be playing.

If she comes, hook her up with Falcon's ST2k when he isn't using it; can't let Katie bring her average up any more...
"Headband" - as so named by OMC
"That One Guy in the Pineapple Shirt" -So aptly named by Baghead
