Hi I am pretty new to nerfhaven i just recently made and account because i felt i wanted to share my mods with the nerf modding community. I have never been to a nerf war but ive always wanted to go to one i play nerf with my friends in my house alot and ive been modding for a couple years soo ya my mod is a longshot with a universal brass breech and a 5 kg spring with a stock spring combined as well as an omw stage 1 and 2 kit plus a whole bunch of homemade cosmetic integrations. Hope u guys think its cool

Internals are still a work in progress, and I havent decided if I'm printing a yellow KV stock instead, but BOOM the visuals are sub-optimal

Currently 3s Hellcats for 135fps, but soon to change.

Mods: Air Restrictor removed, [k26], catch spring upgraded, cardboard padding added to buttstock and foregrip, scope taped down, and 1-1/4" PVC faux silencer.
Comments: This is my veteran Longshot, my first Nerf blaster, and my workhorse. It's the only blaster I can trust my Raider drums to feed in. There's nothing quite like the feeling when I slam the bolt home on a full drum!

WIP because it still needs a front plate. I'm also making a barrel attachmemt out of the front bit of the original stampede I cut off so stay tuned...

I also made a more minimalist option for a back plate if I want a smoother look. This is cut from a vulcan ammo box lid and was inspired, along with most of this project, by torukmakto's build.

Painted this Nerf Maverick with a meteorite/cosmic style paint job using black enamel swirl paint over krylon silver spray paint base coat. I went over all that with an enamel gloss clear coat and added my own special leather grip which is very comfortable. I also added a tacticool picatinny rail at the bottom and i think that looks really cool with the black/silver theme.

 

 

Mods done:

• Air restrictors removed
• Dart posts removed
• Nozzle Spring
• Additional Trigger Spring
• Drop out Cylinder Mod
• Spring Compression
• Solid Clutch
• Air tight barrels
• Tactical Rail added

Final ranges: 70 feet (angled) 40-50 feet (parallel to ground) with elite darts.

My first overhaul. Waiting arrival of 20mm expanded battery tray from containment crew & 180 motor cover from Tacticoolfoam.

Shown are the 2 blade 180s wired with 16awg wire. Used 60/40 rosin cored solder instead of lead-free. Cherry microswitch in the blaster grip. Battery is a Zippy Compact 2s 60C 2200mah.

FW cage is artifact red with worker flywheels.

I know most of you don't know the history of this blaster, but it's been this color scheme since it's debut at 2011 Apoc.

About to hit it with some sand paper and give it a fresh/new scheme. the SS bolts aren't as cool as I thought they were when I was younger lol

Introducing the Bluesky Camouflage Centurion.

The sheer size of this thing was quite daunting, and it took a while to psyche myself into it. Once I was underway, it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. The masking though - so much tape!

If I was ever to open this thing up again (doubtful), I might put some chrome tape over the sides of the air-chamber that you can see through the gap in the side, but meh...



Paints used include Rustoleum 2X Ultracover Flat Black, Hammered Pewter and Bright Blue, Dulux Gun Metal Grey, and Rustoleum's (very disappointing) 'Mirror Finish' silver for the bodywork*, with details and weathering using Tamiya titanium silver enamel and flat black acrylic.







* Don't be sucked in by the marketing guff - Rustoleum's Mirror Finish Silver is just plain silver, except not as resilient. The pictures on the can would have you believe that you can achieve a chrome-like finish, but you can't. And it's nearly twice the price for a can that's only half the size of a normal silver... I won't be using it again.

Modded Nerf Lock n Load with a 4 inch brass breech inside 1/2 inch PVC using popatachi's lock n load mod guide, (instead of 17/32 brass inside 9/16 i used 9/16 brass inside 19/32) and it fires hot glue dome stefans. Really happy on how clean it turned out. I did not want to paint it because i dont like painting vintage blasters. I have been waiting such a while to do a mod on a vintage blaster, and when i did have enough money to purchase a 1995 kenner crossbow on ebay, i didnt want to put in all my money on one blaster. I really enjoyed this mod and i plan to use it against my friends in our outdoor nerf wars (I really wish i could join a real nerf war, im new to nerfhaven but ive been modding for a couple years and really enjoy the hobby). hope you all like it!

Mods Done: 

 

• Air restrictor removal
• 4 inch brass breech 
• added a retaliator spring with the stock spring
• tightened the "o ring" (more of a rubber skirt than an o ring)
• re lubricated everything with white lithium grease
• Keyring added to plunger rod

Final Ranges: est. 70-80 ft (angled) 65-75 ft (PTG) with hot glue dome stefans.
