I recently received a Goodwill 2k with a pump that had a broken check valve. After much deliberation weather to throw the pump away or to just use a Mcmaster check valve as a replacement, I found that you can just cut down your 2k pump and hammer it into your panther pump with no adhesive. As well as puting your panther internals back in your shell with minimal shell work this can also be done with a sm1500 if you don't have a at2k at your disposal.

Here is my PVC Couplered Panther which I finally found at my local Walmart. I made a nice locking Brass Breech as well nested into some PVC. Hits about 100' or so with weighted Stefans.

These Are pretty simple to make, so its not worth its own thread.
1. Unscrew and open blaster. Take out all internals
2. Cut off front of blaster and sand it down so it looks nice.
3. Epoxy a handle onto the jam door. I used 1/2" PVC, and also filled it with hot glue after the epoxy cured.
4. Cut, sand down, and lubricate this wall inside the blaster:

5. Cut back the shell with a dremel so the jam door and handle go farther back. Test to make sure it is far enough.
6. Reassemble the blaster, leaving out the locks (excluding the one that locks the bolt sled after priming) and old priming grip wire.
7. Hot glue the top of the bolt to the jam door.

Because it isn't traditional pump action, I can't get as fast of a rate of fire, and you can only left hand fire now. However, it's now the size of/smaller than a Recon, and looks pretty cool. It is a great fix if you are missing the priming grip on your Raider.

Finished my firestrike

I used teclis blue, enchanted blue, and blaze orange, ov a krylon flat black. Covered with matte rustoleum clear coat.



Tsk s one shows the colors a little better but it's blurry..

This is a modification that I did a couple of years ago. It has a piece of 1/2 CPVC pipe shoved and hot glued into the barrel and a coupler on the end. The plunger has also been padded. It shoots nearly eighty feet angled upward with whistler darts.
