I spent the past several days tuning up the Blingbow:
Oh and metal spring rests are so last year.

My second overhauled 3k:
Super smooth and clean rear loading slot!
With my first 3k.
This is my favorite primary. Shoots supa hard like all 3ks. All it needs is a barrel spacer.

Here's some of my more generic stuff to hold you over:
First mod ever: nested crayola barreled BBB (ranges: less than my nitefinder, about 70-75)
Overhauled New style SM1.5k (these things are Dirt cheap here in Beijing, the equivalent of about 9$), Chinese electrical PVC (the equivalent of medium wall PETG in terms of dart fit and general thickness), foam seal, large rear loading slot with clear plastic inlay. Ranges: insane, of course. Over 110 feet (at 6 pumps), I generally lose the dart when I do that. I use it at about 4 pumps which is plenty, about 95-100 feet.
Also, Video!
Minimized draw extended nitefinder, PPR barrel (I'm guessing its like CPVC, just bendier, good for bow arms as you'll all see soon )
Also glued the dart holders to one side, keeps the original functionality while still being minimized
Cleaned up minimization
It shoots Big Salvo rockets as far as the stock big salvo (about 35 feet), darts hit about 75-80 feet. (HINT HINT: the Big salvo was harvested for the new mirage setup!)
Interestingly the spring was replaced by two maverick springs. I recently saw a topic in which people scoffed at a guy trying to use those in a nitefinder, but they actually are significantly more powerful than the stock spring (of course the fact that he couldn't figure out how to get them on must have been a bit embarrassing)
For those of you who care, I have actually been very active since posting the original Mirage; but under the pressure of school I preferred to spend my limited free time actually working on projects. I've got a huge backlog of things to show and so I'll try to get them all out there fairly soon starting with the boring stuff (this) leading up to the next two iterations of the Mirage!

With speed loaders. The barrels are perfectly straight, its just the picture making it look crooked.
With both sets of barrels.
With stock dart barrels.
I was sick of working on it so I rushed the cosmetics a bit. I also ran out of paint so I couldn't do many touch ups. Still looks cool though. Both sides shoot over 80' flat with slugs. Still experimenting with barrel lengths. Stock darts get about 60' flat.

Finished my mega missile! It is hitting 90-100 ft. This baby is my new primary. I am most likely to be adding a stock.

Major props to Baghead for the great work, I couldn't be happier with it.
And now for the best raider you will ever see:

On the other hand, the guy who posted before me used the word 'fuck' a lot so he probably knows what he's talking about.

The contract for O121KA1 over in Canada. I epoxied up the plunger assembly where the plastic pieces snap together to try to make it last longer than mine initially did. Also went ahead and did the full Fome bow mods to it, so that plug there redirecting air to the RSCB can be pulled out and switched for shooting actual Nerf arrows. Shoots the same 80s as my pink Faux Bow.
An SS2 I got earlier. BBB spring, 3" CPVC barrels fitted inside stock barrels with Etape. Getting 70s with both barrels, with my crappy single BB darts.

Hits at least 80, liquid epoxy re-enforced internals, uber clean rear-loading, absolutely no cutting thumbs.

I see some brass there, this is going to be cool. I just saw the nightfinder and handles, I wonder if.....nevermind
Can you smell what The Mack is cookin'?
Anyway, to get back on topic...
I was bored today so I picked up my mavrick and made the turret come out more. It was very simple, no AR punched out so it hits about 15 ft. I plan to use this in a zombie round or two.

Do I smell a Break-Finder/Nite-Break/Whatever the fuck name you want to give it?
Look at that, even cell phones can take good pictures if you actually set up lighting for it!
Just something to do. Picked up an Alpha Trooper yesterday, and promptly did a few basic mods. It sucked before, and now it sucks even more. I think I messed up the dart tooth or something; maybe I'll fix it later. Bleh.

I put this together for Colorado State University's HvZ game that starts in a few days. BBB has no extra springs or anything fancy.
I wanted to keep it low powered so it's safe for shooting zombies. It gets maybe 50-60' MAX with Slug-type darts, with the 8 dart RSCB full,
but that's ok, because that's farther than a Raider or Alpha Trooper can shoot, and it's a lot more consistent in that the darts all generally fly straight.
That Nitefinder also has no mods to increase it's power, and I generally shoot taggers or whistley-type darts from that barrel.
Not very clean, but I will be adding some bits of plastic or cardboard to cover the joint between the two blasters.
CSU Police do not want us to paint our blasters, so the colors will stay awkward.
