This is my lover, adding the iron sites make it possible to hit a standing piece of 9/16 brass at about 26 feet, that is the length of my basement so I do not know about ranges hire then that.

Sweet looking X-bow man and a very nice job on painting the NF. Looks very clean and professional.
Whats up with the colors you chose for the NF? Is it because of a girlfriend or a limp wrist?

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

First of all, I love the crossbow! Nice job.

Second, the NF looks so clean because it's fake. I messed with the hue and all he did was cut out the gun, change the hue, and put it on a background. Nice try!

My X-bow needed some originality, besideds the chunk missing when I got it. So I pimped it out the only way I know how. NES Style.

That X-bow is awesome, Renegade...old-school video game stickers are a unique touch. By the way, are those stefans in the hole on the left side of the gun, or do my eyes deceive me?

Just segments of foam to stabalize the plunger assembly, and something to fill in the gap. Foam in every possible empty space to lessen the echoe when fired. And because I can.

SupG, I'll give you until you hit 75 posts to fix your grammar and capitalization. If you manage to piss one of the other admins before then, well, then they'll be suspending you before I will.

I'd prefer not to suspend you, but if you continue to violate the forum rules, I will be forced to take action.

Renegade, did you position that magazine that way on purpose? I mean, the title says "Maxim", and the word underneath is "underw" from what I can see of it. I mean, I know it's not that particular men's magazine, but I just found it funny how the gun covered just the right letters.

It appears to be a game box (opened) entitled "Maximum Underworld" or something of the like...funny how that turned out.

Besides using paint/MS Photoeditor/Photoshop, how do other people color their plunger shafts and triggers on a NF? Usually the paint scrapes off on mine under normal use...

Edit: oh yeah, Renegade you have a way of taking pictures. The cluttered background actually does good for your Xbow...

One of my clan mambers carries a Manta Ray in his left hand, and used to carry a Quad-barreled Airtech 2000 in his right. Pumping the Airtech 2000 could (as I'm sure you can imagine) be a bit of a pain because the shell of the manta Ray would get in the way as he tried to grip the pump of the Airtech 2000 while still holding on to the manta Ray.

Inspired partly by my SplitTech 2000 (the other part simply by the need presented by my clan member).

Posted Image

Enjoy!

It gets ranges around 90-95' flat and doesn't get in the way of the shell at all. He can put the ball of the pump on his left palm, hook his left thumb over the ball, and proceed to pump the gun. The two guns never have to touch, problem solved.

Basic mod, masic texture painting. Didn't seal the paint until after it started rubbing off. Oh well, better luck next time.

Very nicely done on that BBB. The barrel appears (in the picture) to be sagging downward a little bit. Just a heads up, so you can take care of it. Overall, though it looks very nice. I'd also like to ask what sort of ranges you're getting out of it. I don't know if it's true or not, but that seems like quite a long barrel for the amount of air coming out of a 3B. I know the brass won't be going the full length or anything, but I'd be interested to hear about some ranges.

It's too bad the paint started wearing of on the Mav before you had a chance to seal it, but I guess you just can't win 'em all... It looks nice regardless.

And now, since all the guns save my Crossbow that I've posted in here happen to be ugly as hell, I'll give some relief. Meet the second generation of the SplitTech 2000, and my own personal Split Tech:

Posted Image
Posted Image

Cleaner, sleeker (due to the Sch 80 Elbows used to secure the turrets, rather than the angled endcaps) more badass, better ranges, and better accuracy. Everything I hoped the [SplitTech 2k] would be.

I realized halfway through typing that, I was basically quoting Evil's describtion of Cain on his website, so I stuck the brackets around SplitTech 2k, where the word "Daemon" would have been... It's not a direct quote (as he had "meaner" thrown in there somewhere I think) but I wanted to make sure in case anybody noticed, that I knew I was doing that.

I could not be more pleased with this new 2nd generation SplitTech, though. Just holding it is the coolest thing in the world. Unpainted, it is one of the coolest looking guns I've ever seen. It is a bit front-end heavy, but that is to be expected from a plastic toy with two feet of brass tubing on the front with an entire tube of two-part epoxy holding those barrels to two turrets from Airtech 2ks, holding those to brass stubs holding it all onto the Plastic toy. Add to that the Sch 80 elbowsw, and it's [o]going[/i] to be heavy. But just stick your open palm under the pump handle (where it belongs anyway) and you're holding one HELL of a gun. Ranges are approximately 80-85', so there's a bit of improvement over the last one in that department. And for a semi-auto gun (okay, only two shots semi-auto at a time, but it is nonetheless) it's pretty damn accurate. It shoots consistent patterns at 60' abolut the size of a smaller human torso (which is exactly what it's meant to hit anyway) so no complaints here.

So anyway, what do you guys think? Oh, and don't forget to mention pinhead's stuff; I don't want to steal any comments he might reciece (that is still a really clean3B...)

Later!

Sharpshooter 2 paint job. It's got 9/16 barrels, and poo range for a SSII, if someone could help me that would be great.

Uh, buddy, I do believe it's spelled "pr0n" (with slight variations on case/letter/number usage...)

Now, about that SSII.

Do you only have 9/16 brass on it (as in nothing nested?)

And how tight are your darts in 9/16"?

it's a joke, falcon. same pronunciation, different spelling. Anyway it's more fun to say prawn. The brass is not nested, falcon. It's straight 9/16. I get a nice tight fit with the brass. Maybe it's the length of brass?

Heres my RSCB AT3K, it use to just be singled with a staggered barrel, but I decided to do this. The two pieces of pvc are reloader clips.
Posted Image
This is my LBB, its been cpvc coupler'd, cut down, and had it's pump plugged. It has a 12" cpvc barrel, as well as a 8" pvc for megas.
Posted Image
Here are the family NFs. The top two are mine, they've been cpvc'd, stronger spring, PPK'd, and a second o-ring has been added. The third is my brothers, and the exact same thing as mine, except it has been brassed with 17/32" brass, which is a perfect fit for both mine and my brothers darts.

Really clean.

It's been bugging me for quite awhile now, so I'm just going to say 'fuck it' and ask:

What the hell is an RSCB setup, and what the hell does it do? I never really read into them, and can't really find anything...

It may be a total newbie question, but I don't care, because I'll never use one anyway, regardless of what they do. But I'd like to know.

Its sooooo awesome! The barrels are 3" of 9/16" brass with 6" 17/32" brass nested in it.
I basically did exactly wat Spoon did on his, except I used different barrels.
