I love how the new Rocket Launcher seeks. It's so easy to take out the Banshees.
But the best part? Hitting people out of vehicles. Especially the Wraith. Or the Banshee. Because we all know how fun it is to pummel the shit out of someone with fists/grenades, and kick a guy out of plane 50 feet above the gound!

And I really like the way the weapons are "ranged". Like how it the Carbine and Brute gun are not as effective at long range. The Brute gun seems to me to have problems with aiming and elevation. What should be close range hits with the brute gun sometimes go over their heads, or do inconsistent damage.
Since the Carbine, Battle Rifle, Beam Rifle , and loser Rifle can all be "zoomed" , I think it makes single player mode slanted towards loser type tactics. But, the Energy Sword and shotgun are so awesome in close quarters, that it adds that much more depth to the game by supporting that style of play also.
You could not do better than Bungie did here ! ( even though , for me the Battle rifle and Needler suck! )

I think any gun can do that if you hit the hunters in the back on the orange part.It can take down a hunter in 1 shot.
BTW: I just got H2 and it is awsome, it blows the first one completly away!

Actually, I think they have made the Hunters a lot stronger because when I first met Hunters on the level where you are in Africa, I thought you could easily take them down(because now the orange spots are a lot bigger and exposed a little more) with one shot but I had to empty my smg clip on the spot before it died. Also, the battle rifle are a little better because there is no recoil, but you still have to shoot the orange spot a few times before it gives up and dies.I think any gun can do that if you hit the hunters in the back on the orange part.It can take down a hunter in 1 shot.

By the way: anyone who has tried co-op notice that you cannot ride the Scorpion tank for a second player on the side? Cause my friend and I were playing and he couldnt get on so he just hi-jacked a ghost and flew beside me.

Apparently every screen-shot for Half-Life 2 has been rendered in 3DSMAX so far.

Don't get the wraith, I tried for a long time and finally got one but then I found that it doesn't fit through the tunnel that you have to go through right afterwards.Next time, get the wraith(I think thats what it's called. You are refering to the 3rd level, correct?)

I used a pistol, so far, and a battle rifle. What gun did you use to kill them?
By the way: anyone who has tried co-op notice that you cannot ride the Scorpion tank for a second player on the side? Cause my friend and I were playing and he couldnt get on so he just hi-jacked a ghost and flew beside me.
I noticed that to, me and my brother where playing and he couldn't get on, I thought it was a marine in the way so I shot him. Didn't do anything.
Taita, personally I think its ALOT better than the screenshots.

Is that the part where you go back into the High Charity place and like the flood have swarmed the whole place, and you go up an elevator and then the whole place is dark, and flood combat forms come out of no where and bitch slap you and keep coming until you run out of ammo and the only thing you can do now is like bitch slap them back with your empty gun(which really did nothing) or chuck the rest of your grenades at them? And you got swarmed and died? Anyhow, I don't really know of any strategies for that part, except stocking up on human weapons only(except for the battle rifle dont use that on flood) and hoping you dont run out of ammo. My friend was screwed cause he had a plasma rifle and plasma pistol because he had just respawned earlier, but I had a shotgun and a magnum and I managed to survive through that part. Hmm... my friend got slaughtered but I tried to save him hehe...Alright, for anybody who's already beaten it or gotten quite far; do you remember the level where there is this one room that is EXTREMELY dark, and the flood come out of everywhere? Is there a way to actually beat that room strategically, or do you have to just flail around? My friend and I kinda cheated by turning the screen brightness to full, so we could sort of see the flood bearing down on us.

While I was there, I played a little game called Walo 2. That's two. It's the sequel to the original Walo.
That's it. Just try to figure it out. Try to figure out my code."

I actually don't like the Brute Plasma rifles cause they overheat too fast compared the the normal plasma rifles. But they are good for taking out smaller covenant units like the grunts or the jackals(shield ones, not the losers).Yeah, I only survived because we were playing co-op and I had the shotgun . My friend was awesome with the dual-wield brute plasma rifles though, I must say.
By the way: who has tried the game on legendary and been shot by the Jackals with the annoying Beam Rifle or purple lasered loser rifle? They are like on hit kills on you and like my friend and I got murdered soo many times at this one point where we were reverted back to the check point before the current one. It was like slaughter but we got past that part somehow from major determination.
