For those of you that were unaware, my attendance potentiality decreased significantly when I found out I had 2 departmental exams on Monday, but my professor gave our entire class a week extension. I found this out yesterday. So, the good news is I will be attending with Slug. The bad news is, well, I have no stockpile of usable darts that fit the barrels of the Mk. III.

Hopefully through the combined efforts of VACC, Slug and myself, we will be able to manufacture some darts tomorrow night before the war. I'm aiming to craft some heat-seeking ones, but we'll just see what happens.

This is either going to work beautifully or fail miserably. Either way, should be interesting. I've got a long drive ahead of me, so see you bitches on Saturday.

Okay, I randomly got assigned a project for tonight at 11:30 and I think it's probably going to go kinda late. I will be there tomorrow, but I'm going to be late. Nothing I can do about it, work is work. You fuckers want to start paying my bills I'll show up 6 days early!

Very well, AI got to see all the RSVP'd admins (with the exception of Talio) and had a great time.

Pros:
-Getting one of the last NERFSTRONG wristbands
-LS doing great
-Getting a pistol splat (thanks Zach!)
-Getting to see the GURU MK.3!!
-Almost everything else

Cons:
-Had to leave early
-Very hot

Tedfest 09 was fun, but hot and tiring.
I do not sweat, and am in fact a robot, but it was still really nasty outside.

And I'm sorry I forgot to bring my mobstacles. Atleast Famine's impromptu ones werea good deal of fun to make fun of and abuse.

Anticipate the forming of Team SUCKsess within the coming months.

Hahaha, the look on my face is that of confusion, discomfort and mild satisfaction. No two men should be forced to hug for such an extended period of time. Except for me and OMC.

I'll post my reactions tomorrow since I just finished driving about 6 & 1/2 hours back to VA. Sleep beckons. I'm sore, bruised, cut, blistered, and sunburned on most of my limbs. It was awesome.

Yes it was hot outside. My AAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSS was sweating all day.

Yesterday was immensely entertaining. The field was large and unique, and the layout generally focused skirmishes around the central house area. The weather was nice up until about 2-3pm at which point most of us felt like our very lifeforce was being sucked from our bodies.

Anywho, on to the highlights:

• The Mk. III's first performance trial, and lo -- it was fucking awesome.
• Seeing Dark Shrimp, after giving blood, show up and immediately start nerfing.
• A surprised unannounced visit from Evil whom I haven't seen in almost a year.
• An un-aimed over the shoulder hit on Skitzo's gun as I ran by the hedges.
• Pivoting around a tree trunk for a quick ambush shot on Evil, and hitting his gun.
• Surprisingly, getting a lot of gun hits this war...like, a lot of them. It was fucking weird.
• The not-so-Effeminate final showdown in the 2 team Gunslinger's Heaven round.
• Selling some of the last NERFSTRONG Wristbands.
• Absolutely destroying my hands due to the spring tension of the Mk. III. Fuck, they hurt.
• Getting molested by Dark Shrimp, sexually assaulted by VACC, and groped by OMC.
• Bullshitting with Capt. Slug for 5 hours both in the car ride up and the car ride down.

Don't post cons in any war/recap thread. Cons are for pussies.

I showed up for the last 3 rounds of the day. Too hot too fast. It was 39 one day this week and now it's 80. My viking blood is too thick for a temperature change that quickly. However, I had a good time. Split made me a bitching plusbow, which I got to use a whole whopping one round, but more importantly I got to see all my friends. Totally worth it.

This one is dedicated to CaptainSlug (I got to shake his hand during the beginning of the gathering, that pretty much made my day ), Groove (Surprisingly he's not an asshole like Famine claimed!! He's actually a pretty nice guy... unlike Vacc; who if you think is mean on the forums, he's like 5 times meaner IRL!!), OMC (He's an Ef-ing hardcore Nerfer... I mean, he did a 3 feet slide on the dirt ground in the beginning of the first round just to get a shot; which BTW covered his right leg in dirt, blood, cuts, and bruises for the whole day. Then near the end of the day, he threw his whole body onto the Plastic Wrap Force Field just to take it down. I'm still mad at him thought... when I asked Groove if I could see his new Guru, and just when Groove was handing it to me... OMC says: "See with your eyes, not with your hands". Groove stops, and says: "oh he's right", and I DIDN'T GET TO TOUCH IT!! DAMN YOU OMC!!), and Dark_Shrimp (Hehe, just look at the 3rd pic below, he almost got killed when he got in between OMC and Groove... hahahahahaha!!).
