Perhaps the guns labeled under N Strike will be real and the guns under Top secret will be fake. Time will tell.

As much as I would love to see both the s. rifle and the multiple grenade launcher, I am not hopeful.

I could completely see the Raider being released. It looks like just a recon with the clip on the side, a different barrel and a different stock. Nerf really doesn't have an answer for the Double Shot, which sells only for the fact it is the only toy shotgun readily available.

I think it would be great if the Spartan was in fact released with a 12 shot clip. That would be one of its major selling points.

Rather than double post---

Other nerf patents filed:
Shadow Fury Foam Swords - 76691228
Magstrike AS-10 - 76691229
Attack Unit Dart Blaster - 76691230
Slam Fire - 76691232
Stampede Rev 12 - 76691235
Rampage EBF-25 - 76691236

Guys ever heard of code names? Yeah. Rampage EBF-25? That's the Vulcan EBF-25. I'm sure the CS thing is one of our clip shooters and the magstrike.. well you can guess that one.

No Steyr AUG knock-off? Dang...But the Spartan looks killer.

Also, I'm sure I'm not the only ScrewAttack fan on here. The trailer was featured as their Trailer of the Week.

I freaking WANT the Spartan. The only thing that's getting me PO'd at it is the fact that it stole the name I was using for my Recon-SuperNitefinder combo, so I have to make up a new one.

That one is is definitely being released, so perhaps that is some sort of validation of the rest.

Did anyone else notice the huge distance the handle on the spartan moves? That's got to be a huge plunger. If it ever was made, it would have some amazing power wen modded.

I'm going to Toysrus.com right now, searching Nerf, clicking preorder, having game shipped 11/04, and expecting game no later than 11/11.

Well if you look, it is also higher on the gun than the barrel is. This might not leave much space for a plunger to fit that would be in line with the barrel. The clip has to be at the back of the barrel (or at least close) for it to receive any real power. Hopefully Hasbro will release the overall shape, but I doubt it would have that long of a handle throw.

Here's an absolutely crazy idea: The slide is nowhere near where a plunger would fit, and is about 3 times as long as a micro breach needs to be... wait, 3 times... 3 round burst...

Bolt has a big long spring behind it, but the bolt sled isn't attached to the plunger, it's attached to a rod that turns a gear (think of the... Razorbeast? Ballgun that fires by pulling a rod). This gear is the piston that cocks and fires the gun... 3 times.

To throw a wild theory out onto the table, I suspect the Spartan, if it was ever released, would be a foam shooting AEG, as I can't think of many reasons for that huge stock.

All hail the new age of Nerf, the electric age!

That's a new (well, new a couple years ago) version of Megatron. It doesn't shoot anything, if I remember correctly, and it definitely doesn't shoot nerf darts.

God if this is the new line I might just have to explode.

Seriously, the spartan IS THE COOLEST LOOKING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN.

I dont caps often, so I mean I want that hunk of plastic to have my children. I think most of the guns (except those labeled top secret, because they are completely ludicrous) are fully capable of being produced.

That grenade launcher thing could just be a spring 6 shot ball gun. Not that complicated to build in the hands of engineers.

But those (long range weapon) things are pretty awesome too I must say.

I knew the gun was old but i think it gave hasbro the base idea for some things on the funky looking mavrick.

If the spartan isn't produced, i could definitely settle for the red dot scope thing on its rail.

Just looking that the guns, the Spartan I'd say would be the most likely to be made into an actual nerf gun. It's got the same cocking handle as a LS, but look at that seriously long draw length!. If they didn't reduce that length, the plunger tube would extend well into the stock, and you'd have a serious springer right there, but they'll probably cut it down to make it kid friendly. Looking at the axis going through the barrel and the bottom of the magazine you have fair distance, much more than the standard 6rd magazine we've seen (off the shelf 12rds perhaps?)

Grenade launcher looks good and I think it might make the cut for a real nerf weapon. It doesn't have enough space to fit springer internals, so probably a pneumatic with the stock as a pump.

The raider might never see the day of light, sideways loading is a real issue though. You gotta have the boltsled mounted sideways which makes the gun half molds pretty tricky to both make and assemble.

My 2cents anyways.

A few thoughts on the Spartan: it looks like there is a transparent window in the stock which reveals gears of some sort. Also, i can see mounts for a sling. These things make me think this is a blaster they plan to produce, since they prove the blaster is grounded more in reality than fantasy.

All of the people drooling over the raider: Why do you like it so much? It would have to work on an inverted plunger like the recon, which we all know to be unusable in outdoor nerf. Are you all indoor nerfers, only admiring it's astetics, or unaware of the near certainty that it won't make for a good primary?

Thirdly, although the Spartan is my favorite "new" blaster, those loser weapons look really awesome. If i was going to pick a favorite solely on the way it looks, the yellow bolt-action looking one would be it.

If the spartan ever came into existence it might be produced with a 12 round clip. As we have the LongShot CS-6 and the Recon CS-6 which both come with a 6 shot clip. The Spartan CS-12 would probably have a 12 round clip. I belive CS stands for clip shooter. But yea the spartan looks hot but the raider looks meh. It would be a nice looking gun to but pointless as from the screencaps it looks like a LS or a Recon with the clip sideways. The only crowd that appeals to is the LARP'ers and I don't think Hasbro even takes them into consideration.

How would that in any way help the HvZ crowd. I thought they went for functionality then rof then sweet looks. This wouldn't increase rof in any way.

The grenade launcher would have to use a good volume of air to fire larger nerf amo. Scaling down the barrel size to 1/2" seems simple and could be very effective if my preditions are correct.

Something I noticed about the Spartan:There appears to be some sort of area in the stock, noticed by many now, perhaps a gearbox? There also appears to be a button above the trigger that could turn the gun on? Also, it appears there is a priming handle at the top of the gun.

Perhaps if can fire fully automatic by turning it on and shooting, or burst fire by pulling the priming handle back all the way.
