The folks at Kotaku posted a video of some gameplay of the new N Strike game

http://kotaku.com/50...-strike-trailer

In all I count about 28 weapons total

Real nerf guns usable: Titan (now with exploding rocket power), Firefly, Longshot, Maverick, Vulcan, Recon.

The complete shot:

Posted Image

This is the gun select screen, however if you watch the video you will see other guns that do not appear above.

Edit: The following nerf guns are now pending patents:
Raider CS-6 - 76691227
Shadow Fury Foam Swords - 76691228
Magstrike AS-10 - 76691229
Attack Unit Dart Blaster - 76691230
Slam Fire - 76691232
Stampede Rev 12 - 76691235
Rampage EBF-25 - 76691236

This by no means is an indicator that any of these new guns in the game will actually be released.

If you watch the video is slow motion you can make out some of the names of these new guns.

I'm currently trying to pause on each gun and take a screenshot, but here's something in the meantime: I got rid of all the recolors on the weapon select screen and sorted the blasters into existing and non:

[EDIT]

Ah, why not? Here's the one's I've got so far:

Bullshit, its only for wii. Did anyone notice that walther g22/m14 type rifle? That was sick.

Edit: Woah silenced mav! And 3 types of Vulcans!

Does anyone think some of these new guns will come out around the time of the games release date? Or are they just to hard to make, Like the turreted vulcan?

[EDIT] That's all of the new guns that are in that quick bit at the beginning. There's a recolor of the magnum, a couple of the old guns, and some shots of the above guns but from different angles.

I wonder how long it will be before people start trying to do cosmetic mods to make some of the "new" guns in this game a reality? Personally, I think this one could be done without too a ridiculous amount of trouble:

Posted ImagePosted Image

Seriously though, it looks like it could be fun, and it also looks like they could use it as a platform for trying out new gun ideas in a virtual space (for the reaction to the "wow" factor without the expense of actually creating the gun in real life). If course, it wouldn't be quite the same, but it might help them avoid any major duds in the future, who knows?

There were some really cool looking ideas for new blasters in there. I, for one, hope they plan on making a production model of the rifle looking blaster thats near the bottom of the pic posted a few replies up.

The interview with the designers says that some of those guns are coming out next year, and some of those guns were just made up for the game. At least a couple of them don't look physically possible.

I'd take that shotgun. It'll probably be my first pick as primary if I get the game.

Man, that huge revolver is a beast. I wonder which ones they are going to release next year--I hope it's the side-clip-loading shotgun.

IF any of the fictional guns were actually released and they could get any proper ranges, life would be sweet.
Of course, if they didn't have decent stock ranges, modding is always a valid proposition.

Anyone notice this?

"getting your hands on dozens of NERF blasters - some real, some that will be coming out next year from Hasbro and some fantasy blasters that we invented just for NERF ‘N-Strike’."

I wonder which ones they'll actually be making...

Always bring your sword to battle.

I pity the fool who attempts to use a single-shot blaster against me.

I was going to post the pictures of my two favorite guns, but Eboreg has beaten me to the punch.

The grenade launcher would be an interesting release for nerf. They really have slacked off in making a more interesting ball gun since the pulsator/ballzooka.

I am definitely going to be buying this game. It's supposed to have about a 12-hour single player campaign. I'll try to review it a soon as i can.

My expectations are pretty low, I'm assuming they'll release MAYBE one new design gun and have the others they release be the recolors.
That being said, the recolor Longshot looks smexy.
EDIT: Oh, also, I think the Spartan is a Beretta RX9, maybe CX9, not sure.

I totally agree with the raider. It looks like a shotgun grip Recon... I'll buy that.

Yeah, but I doubt they will release the Spartan as a Blaster. My Accusations are based on its Clip. It's way bigger than the regular Longshot/Recon Clips, and I doubt Hasbro will release a new one soon.

On the other hand, I googled for "Raider CS-6", and look what I stumbled upon: Proof of Existence?

"toy dart shooters and foam toy darts for use therewith"

They might just be trade marking it for the fun of it, or they are trade marking it because they will make it a blaster.

Could be, but why won't I find anything under "Spartan NCS-12" or "Crusher SAD-6" ?
