Geez you dont have to be so harsh, he was just being observant...And your point is? The vast majority of Nerf guns are capable of shooting them.

After more observation: It has 3 rails: one on top and two on the side under the barrel.
I saw that too!!! 3 fking rails lol
I had a long hiatus from nerfing from '09-'13

This is a good photo that shows the understanding of how the gun actually loads And will fire.

I saw the Crossbow re-release on the shelf at my local Target, but I didn't want to tell anyone because I wanted them all to myself. I hid them all behind Dora the Explorer toys....

I still don't see how the hell it is electric somehow. It has a charging handle like the longshot. I would say you pull it back, fire, and pull it back again. Its a springer with a kickass body.
I like how they stole out idea too. The little attachable gun. The cocking handle looks like a NF...and the gun looks like a modded LS scope on the forums...preeeety suspicious.

What if the vulcan has a charging handle for single shot use, like if your out of power. This is bearing in mind the fact that D batteries are heavy and expensive.

I noticed that also Slug. If you look at the picture with the gun pointed southeast isometric almost (gun is pointed forward) and look at the chains on the table, you can see one black suction micro and the rest are streamlines. Guess they were shooting it some.

My best guess is that the charging handle is to lock the belt into place; the sections at the front and at the end of the chain probably need to be fed into the gun before it is able to fire properly. Once you insert the non-dart-holding sections of chain, you would pull the handle back and push it forward to bring the first dart into position to be fired.
I'm glad they used a box on the side for storage of the chain, it will make it much easier to keep track of used chain as well as preventing it from breaking by having the entire thing flopping around on both sides of the gun.

Secondly... green titan/hornet. I didn't see a scout, though, and that saddens me. i'd like nothing more than a rainbow collection of scouts.
The wiimote blaster attachment looks like it has some serious potential- looks like a DiskShot/NF plunger, so ranges should be tasty, and it looks like it would be a cinch to mount it on, say, the NF top rail. Bam, double NF.

As for the Wii/nerf hybrid gun, I'm hoping it feels more comfortable than the Wii blasters they have out now. My only concern is that the handle looks really small in the pictures with the guy holding it. I\d also like to know if it comes packaged with a game (not to mention if the game is any good), or separate.
The superhero tie-in guns don't interest me too much, but I did notice the Hulk Titan/Hornet combo still has the slot for the scout pistol, but it is not present.

In sputnik's second picture, there's a vulcan ammo belt and in the first is the gun itself. It really is small.

Look At the box for the Vulcan, it has suction cup darts shooting out of it.
When you look at a gun on the back of a box of say, the NF, they are pictured with Streamlines in them. Do they come with streamlines? I think not, but the boxes show them.
This seems like a very big year for Nerf. Totally bitchin'.

No, no, no. It isn't a manual springer, it's automatic, that's what the description said. If it were like you thought it was, then why the hell would it need 6-D batteries, Nerf would easily find a way to use the bolt to prime it and advance the chain. It's pretty much down to this: it is either powered by motorized flywheels, or uses an AEG type setup.
EDIT: It also says it is fully automatic on the box.

They are just making blasters for movies for promotion. Spidey wrist blasters, iron man one (haven't seen it yet), Transformers, etc... The Hulk ones aren't the Hulk, its just green.
I always wanted a Irish Hornet...
Opps, didn't see the Hulk sticker on the Titan,

Green+ Titan= Future bags gun... just add pink
Iron Man magstrike? that's a little weak.
Disappointed to see the Hyperfire is just a repackage of the Dart tag line, but i love the new colors!!!
Slightly less worried about the vulcan... although I'm wondering why a gun that uses six d batteries and is "fully automatic" would need a bolt-action charging arm? are we talking manual fire if you wish?
and the wii gun may set up for a good integration.
meh. I hope the Eliminator is something new, although... I wouldn't be surprised if it's just another NF repackage, and you really can't ignore the joy of the nite finder. There's nothing wrong with being able to get four in one box, I mean, that's like instant clan pistol inventory.

Maybe the repackaged superhero guns are an indication that the SDTG is here to stay for a while. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like for those to be available for a while.
This may just be Fred Meyer (NW all in one store), but they were clearancing most of the Spidey & Transformers movie stuff, as well as the Magstrike. Unfortunately, they were completely devoid of SMDTGs, NFs, and Mavs, and when I asked the clerk, she replied that they were trying to clear shelf space for the new line. They haven't gotten the Recons in yet, though so it may just be stuff like that.
How come no one ever intends to create a pun? Whenever I make a pun it is always intended. There's nothing wrong with puns.

Why would nerf rerelease the DTG though... It just came out basically. It just doesn't make any sense.
UNLESS, hasbro made way too many of these DTGs and are now trying to sell them off in 4 packs with a new name?
The DTB has been around since mid-05; not exactly recent considering all the guns that have come out since then.
Not to be a whiny bitch but this is disappointing. At least when Nerf repackaged the SM line as the Airtech guns they were still good. Now they're rereleasing guns I hate:
Titan=expensive, bulky, impractical
Hornet=great gun, but difficult to mod and finicky
DTB=pure shit, piss-poor ranges without a serious overhaul
Magstrike=not even original in its first form, and I already have a few PCs.
I'm not going to make any predictions about the Vulcan yet.
But young boys will favor machine guns, bazookas and rifles over guns like AT2ks, and I suppose those guns are what will make them money.
