I'm here just reporting that this mod got on both Kotaku and Destructoid with the least amount of negative comments I've ever seen.

This has become a very popular modification indeed.

For the record, that might have been the fucking coolest thing I've EVER seen on these boards yet (tough call between that and the +bow). I just have to be me.

In my opinion the +bow has much more war potential than the Lancer.
The Lancer just looks cooler.

How powerful is the motor in the chainsaw? Does it continue to spin when you attack someone, or does it seize up?

The chainsaw will seize up if too much pressure is against it. If it was pressed up against an ear it will keep spinning.

Who was that poor kid you kept cutting down at the end of the video?

Thats Raven and he will be coming out to the upcoming Canadian wars.

Prometheus: The painting is very peaceful because there is not too much thinking involved once you start painting. I find it very soothing to be honest. The end results can be very beautiful.

Precision Nerfer: I do not have a ton of free time. I have been working 6 days a week recently and I started this thing like 2 months ago.

Penguin: The only problem I had with circuit city was it smelt like BO. They were really helpful to me.

If this was to celebrate your LS mod, then I'm kinda worried about what's gonna happen in July.

Notice how Angels mod actually resembles the Lancer? No similarities between the Power Clip and Plasma Rifle at all.

Yeah I just always thought so; probably only because of some color and translucent resemblance and the top half has some similar shapes. I let my imagination go wild some times.

I think that I can answer this for you because I used to work with 9V holders a lot in my previous hobby.



To replace the batteries you would have to obviously open the gun and then you just pop out the battery and put in a new one. So the answer is it would not be hard.

Busta Ninja: You are working on a Lancer. Learn from my mistakes as well as successions and apply them to your current project.

Nerf Alchemist: the original idea was to have the one battery in the stock so I only have to undo like four screws.
However because I screwed up on the whole resistors thing There are 2 9V batteries in the gun. Which means I will have to open it up.

Oberon Fox: How heavy is it? Lets see ummmm. What can I relate it to weight wise? Well I did just take a piss. Yeah, it weighs about 3-4 pounds.

I cannot believe this creation has been shown with links to Nerfhaven and the Youtube/stage6 videos on over 70 websites!

I may make another one or two lancers all depending on how much time I have. It is going to take a lot less time now that I know how to make them. I can guarentee if I do make another one, One of them will be hitting Ebay.

Seriously though, very cool. I love the fact that it revs and the chainsaw action is then activated by the trigger. Couldn't have planned that any better. I don't know what Gears of War is (I'm not a gamer, I'm all grown up now), but I gotta say that that "thing" is pretty nifty looking.

I too, go along the lines of OMC... if it 'aint practical, from a STRICTLY Nerfing standpoint, it doesn't appeal much to me. Hell, I cut my blasters down to reduce size and bulk, while keeping up the power.


But it does look nasty. And I guess it certainly put you on the gamer's "map", so to speak. Good work as always, FA_24.

First of all, I would like to say "HELLO!!!" to everyone since this is my first post(thank you admin.'s for the verification) and I just wanted to say that I love ALL of your mods Forsaken_angel24, they are just "redunkulous".

I was looking on kotaku.com and I came upon a posting of a supposed "nerfgun/lancer" and I come to find out that someone posted pics of YOUR lancer mod there!!! Don't worry don't worry, they credited you on making it but the cool thing about the post is that it has like 13 THOUSAND views and roughly 100 comments on it. Congrats!!! your lancer is expanding the nerf community in itself lol. Well, I just wanted to give you a heads up on that and I can't wait to see what other crazy mods(dommsayer FTW!!!)

So the Lancer just got a front page story over on Gizmodo. Curiously, everyone there seems to be convinced that it no longer fires. I was under the impression it still functioned just fine?

Thanks for the compliments guys. The only reason people think it doesn't fire is because they didn't read the write up and it wasn't posted in the video. The Lancer fires just fine.

I just came across the Lancer mod on the Gadget site. That is just a great piece of modding. I bet your second or third lancer will much likely be better, if that's possible.

I can't wait to see want you do the Nerf Vulcan that's coming out in the fall.
