ok, so i was just swimming one day and then decided to check through all my old pool toys to see if i could find something to entertain me besides chasing the under water robot that goes like 2 mph and only goes half way through the pool and then gives up and turns around. I mean seriously whats up with that?! oops getting off topic! anyways i found an old gun i remember that i had for about 2 years. i don't know what brand it was or the name of the gun but it shot a super dart. I just feel in love with this gun because it was so small and super easy to prime, but it kinda sucked with the super dart so i knew that i had to mod it to shoot normal darts. Here is what it looks like. (sorry for it being all shaky i have a really crappy camera)

There were only 5 screws so that made it really easy to open up. here are the internals. I think they are similar to the internals of the nitefinder.

You see that piece of foam in the handle. that is the first time i have ever seen that in a not modded gun. It stops vibrations from going crazy in that hollow handle. Good thing for it too since this gun has a lot recoil for it's size. anyways here is the spring it had.

That's a pretty big spring for a gun that size. oh and if you want a reference--it is as long from my wrist to the tip of my middle finger (EDIT: i mean the gun not the spring). i guess i have average sized hands. I wanted to add another spring but the hammer (that's what i call it anyways. it is the thing at the end with the O-rings on it) wouldn't budge even when i unscrewed it. i thought about cutting of the back of the plunger, slip in a spring, then and use a different thing to pull back the plunger since the yellow foam thing looked kinda stupid, but then i figured to keep the extra spring i had for another gun.

So the first thing i did was violently crush off the yellow "barrel" that the dart slid over. (been a while since i modded a gun. might as well have some fun.) This was my end result.

Then I attached an old barrel from the disk shot shooter gun.

The tape is there to keep it in place until i got more super glue. The only glue i had at the time was school glue.

This hole almost got away from me.

here it is with out the detachable barrel

and here it is with the detachable barrel

I did a shot range test with a stefan and an MT20 dart (mech tommy 20)

w/o barrel extension

MT20: about 30 feet flat

stefan: about 40 feet flat

w/ barrel extension

MT20: about 35 feet flat

stefan: about 50 feet flat with a good stefan.

If you know what this gun is please do tell me.

here is a video on it IF you want to see it -->

Cool!

I love seeing these no name guns pop onto the screen and have potential.

If you wanted you could drill a hole or groove into the plunger handle and add bands for better range.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Interesting gun, I recommend you find a better way to attach the new barrel though (the duck tape is fugly).

Also, macro and flash on the camera dude. Macro should be a little flower and flash a little lightning bolt.

I'd tell you to replace the stock spring, but by the looks of it the spring would cost more than the whole gun. A paint job would take it up a notch. You should try the Krylon Fusion Nickel paint I used on my LS (here: http://nerfhaven.com...howtopic=12500). No sanding (optional), no priming, no muss, no fuss, good stuff. (Don't forget the clear coat)

I'm very very sorry. It's just that I am so used to Microsoft Word, where it does it for you.

That is funny a guy named CAPS telling a guy to use capitals he he. I hate duct tape. I suggest using something more formidable than super glue.

Isn't it "2 topics an hour"?

Very nice,

After you get the tape off it should look pretty cool, i always liked the idea of carrying a gun that looks innocent but really packs a punch.

Before it broke, i had a singled blue titan. My friend said it looked so stupid and fake, he said i was a child because i play with nerf guns.

I shot him with it and the situation never repeated itself.

Some friends right?

Sorry that was off-topic.

Anyway great mod, I prefer blurry pictures over no pictures!
