#244044 Zoom-o Ball Titan Barrel
Posted by white moonlight on 26 July 2009 - 04:51 PM in Modifications
That looks like a great ball launcher.
Try and find a way that you can load in like 3 Zoom o balls and have them advance as you shoot kind of like a
pump action shotgun.

It says $25.00 in the thread, but you'd have to ask Whisper to be sure.
I really like this it seems simple enough to do yet outstandingly effective.
I might have to make one... or buy one
#238998 Your Favourite Long Range/accuracy Rifle
Posted by white moonlight on 28 June 2009 - 06:27 AM in Modifications
If they are well modded they can get 130 foot ranges and have great accuracy.
Mine gets 100 foot ranges and has insane accuracy, but I only use the stock spring.

It is very cleanly done, as well.
Would there be anyway to wire the 2 longshot front gun triggers to the longshot trigger?

#238997 Which One Is Best?
Posted by white moonlight on 28 June 2009 - 06:21 AM in General Nerf
You need a looser fit for an air gun, and a tighter fit for a springer.
If you are getting a springer I would use Hereticorps Mile High Black Foam, but if you are getting an
airgun then I would use either frostking, or swiftnerf foam.
#254637 When Do Nerf Blasters Become Too Powerful?
Posted by white moonlight on 26 October 2009 - 07:48 PM in Homemades
Like if the gun breaks skin it should be banned, I do not howver think ANY guns should be ban for being, "to good."
#231069 Welkinhawk

Way to go for bringing the AT1K back.
Those ranges are good as well.
Nice Mod.
#227932 Unique Brass Breeching System
Posted by white moonlight on 03 May 2009 - 04:49 PM in Modifications
I love the use of the PVC coupler for extra support.
Nice work diamondback.
#228399 Unicorn Gun
Posted by white moonlight on 05 May 2009 - 07:52 PM in Modifications
Plus the Unicorn horn adds a nice touch.
Nice mod death by cheez.
#239506 Trimav
Posted by white moonlight on 30 June 2009 - 10:04 PM in Modifications
I would imagine that it would be front heavy except for the fact that the barrels are PETG'ed.
#240508 Titan/magstrike Integration
Posted by white moonlight on 06 July 2009 - 06:48 PM in Modifications
Very nice mod and it is very cleanly done.
What are the ranges of:
Magstrike 1
Magstrike 2
Titan
Also, those measurements for different projectiles is very helpful.
I will always refer back to this if I need to know what size barrel to use of I need to shoot an arrow, (you-
do mean the nerf kind right)?
#241405 The Trojan Horse
Posted by white moonlight on 11 July 2009 - 06:02 AM in Modifications
I mean I understand putting that on if you paint your gun all black, but you
didn't paint it.
Also what are the ranges on that gun?
One more thing, what is the point of the string?
I see the use of the rope, but not the string.
#230867 The Soulreaper
Posted by white moonlight on 17 May 2009 - 06:09 PM in Modifications
I have been waiting for somebody to put an angel breech on a gun besides the longshot.
With the stock spring and those ranges I'm definetly going to make one.
Nice mod.
#243082 The Official Sticker/logo Thread
Posted by white moonlight on 21 July 2009 - 10:04 PM in Modifications
Does anybody have any ideas for preserving stickers?
I have a beautiful Secret Shot 1 with near pristine stickers on it, and want them to last. Seeing as this Blaster is 15 years old I'm pretty sure they won't hold up to much abuse.
As a precaution, I'll be working on getting a good scan of them, in case anyone wants them (or I eff them up and need new ones). This brings another question. Has a conclusion been reached about how to safely remove old stickers like these, or is it better to scan whilst the stickers are still on the blaster? The set on my E-a-B weren't very nice, but attempting to remove them thoroughly ruined them, and that was technically even younger than the SS1.
I'm pretty sure you could take the gun apart. Take the shell with the sticker on it. Soak it in water, and peel
the sticker off.
I am not sure if this is the right way to do it so don't unless someone else confirms it, but I'm pretty sure it would work.

I'm pretty sure you could take the gun apart. Take the shell with the sticker on it. Soak it in water, and peel

Thanks for the suggestion Moonlight, but I can certainly vouch that in my experience this is not a good idea. This type of sticker (which are the same as the ones on the E-a-B ) are very much like paper. They may have had a coating at some point, but it's most likely long gone if there ever was. On the E-a-B, all the water was able to do (even when just simply trying to scrub them off after they were ruined) was to soften the paper itself.
I think our best hope would be some way to loosen the glue's hold, but I havent the foggiest on a good way to do this.
Sorry for the bad advice
I've had no past experience with the secret strike 1 at all.
I do know that method works with other stickers though so...
#237588 The Ghost V.4

Anyway, the crossfire is a good integration incase you need a backup for your backup.
Welcome to Nerfhaven.
#235307 The Gemini
Posted by white moonlight on 09 June 2009 - 08:06 PM in Modifications
Yeah but 50 ft. flat?
Anyway I like the use of the Long Shot Front Gun Trigger.
I will most likely try this if I get a switchshot.
#241510 The Fomebow - Extensive Bow And Arrow Makeover.
Posted by white moonlight on 11 July 2009 - 07:36 PM in Modifications
I'm hoping to get ahold of one of these soon seing as they have potential.
#242874 The Fomebow - Extensive Bow And Arrow Makeover.
Posted by white moonlight on 20 July 2009 - 04:12 PM in Modifications
Also have you tried the gun with a regular RSCB, (not with the plug on the end)?
#235908 The Creamsicle
Posted by white moonlight on 12 June 2009 - 08:36 PM in Modifications
It keeps the power of a BBBB but has a higher rate of fire.
This is definetly an upgrade from the shotgun blast, (mav turret).
#236877 The Creamsicle
Posted by white moonlight on 17 June 2009 - 06:16 AM in Modifications
Plus the video isn't bad by any means.
The paintjob makes it look very cool.
How much range can you get shotgunned.
#265009 Tetra Strike Barrel Replacement
Posted by white moonlight on 10 February 2010 - 09:30 PM in Modifications
I know you said the barrels are crooked for more of a spread, but how is the seal from barrels to tank?
Also what order do the barrels fire in?
#242174 Tech Target Overhaul
Posted by white moonlight on 16 July 2009 - 07:05 AM in Modifications
It's nice to know, (if I need to) that there is a way to almost completely redo the internals.
Also it is very, very clean.
Do you have any plans for a paintjob?
Also what is the point of cutting the second notch into the plunger rod.
Possibly a second catch, or something, (similar to a plusbow).
#235055 Tech Target Brass Breach
Posted by white moonlight on 08 June 2009 - 07:23 PM in Modifications
I like how you cut the hole into the shell itself.
#244312 Supermaxx 1000 Modifications
Posted by white moonlight on 28 July 2009 - 09:45 AM in Modifications
This is a very nice mod to the SM1K.
It's a very nice mod and a good writeup.
Have you tested ranges with PETG yet?
#254636 Stormtrooper Blastech E-11 Raider With Brass Breech
Posted by white moonlight on 26 October 2009 - 07:43 PM in Modifications
I truly did not realize that it was a raider until I read a little bit.
I really, really like it.
#243023 Stormfire Optimzation
Posted by white moonlight on 21 July 2009 - 04:33 PM in Modifications
Between 3 feet and 14 miles.
Wow 14 miles with a good dart.
Whats your dart barrel fit, (serious question and a joke all at the same time )?
#243008 Stormfire Optimzation
Posted by white moonlight on 21 July 2009 - 03:57 PM in Modifications
That is absolutely amazing!
Your paintjobs and writeups are some of the best on nerfhaven.
I am especially loving this paintjob.
I'm excited for the next episode of "Dizzy mods something!"
#246006 Stormfire Modification
Posted by white moonlight on 07 August 2009 - 06:06 PM in Modifications
It is a very, very easy to follow writeup and it will be easy to replicate.
What darts are you using that causes it not to vaccuum(sp)?
Also for the dowell would you be able to make the dowell longer and still fit in the shell without having to much
excess coming out the front, and, or without having to cut into the inside of the shell?
Considering the fact that I am going to be using darts shorter than 2", (1 1/4").
Also are there any common materials, (besides a specific spring) that you could use for the dowell, or would
you have to use a different sized dowell?
Once again very nice mod, and those ranges are great.
The Nitefinder has been defeated!
#240094 Stormfire Internal Pictures
Posted by white moonlight on 04 July 2009 - 09:48 AM in Modifications
You could also post this in the internals directory, which is stickied in this thread.
This guns seems like it has potential.
Can't wait to get a hold of one of those babies.
#247464 Star Wars Rebel Trooper Blaster Mk. 2
Posted by white moonlight on 18 August 2009 - 09:24 AM in Modifications
It looked good without the paintjob and even better with one.
#245853 Star Wars Rebel Trooper Blaster Mk. 2
Posted by white moonlight on 06 August 2009 - 07:34 PM in Modifications
Very nice easy to follow writeup as always.
#239194 Sspb Write-up
Posted by white moonlight on 29 June 2009 - 09:25 AM in Modifications
Nice mod although it's nothing revolutionary. I had a secret strike lying around with all the materials so I decided to do it. Now I can't get the god dam screws out of it. Has anyone found the screws to be particularly tight on this gun?
You may have stripped the screws, or if your lucky you may just be using a bad screwdriver.
Very cleanly done, but as Coop said, brass is easily dented.
Welcome to Nerfhaven.

#243696 Splitfinder 2000

The concept is great.
So what if it's not the cleanest gun inthe world. It works.
