thanks for all your comments! Yes, I am a very serious collector, I keep all my guns in mint condition. Also the reason why even the stickers are mint is because there are no nerf wars to participate in, so the guns never seen sun or rain before. I modded the Charger 600 over 2 years ago and havent opened it up since then, but I'm sure I basically took the air restrictor out as well as the water tank and added a brass barrel on it.

um, the Super Soaker Charger 600 shoots about 90 feet flat. The CPS 1200 (Yellow one) shoots about 110 ft flat. The Super Soaker CPS 2500 (Grey and Red one) was getting 170+ ft flat when it was still in working condition. The plunger busted for a while, so I decided to mod it to use Welding Oxy-Fuel Tanks. But I don't have the cash to buy or rent a oxy tank to try it out, so its useless for now.

Those electric-pumps wont work. I am doing the same project as you, I am converting my CPS 2500. I have done many Super Soaker conversions including, Super Charger 600, CPS 1200, 2500, 4100, Monster, etc. I suggest you go to a welding supply shop and get a portable high compression oxygen fuel canister and connect it to your gun. Put a ball-valve in between and it should work great. Those canisters are in the range of $100-200. But it's a good project and the gun has a big "wow" effect when you show it off in a nerf war! Hope this helps.

I made a Super Soaker CPS 2500 with a brass barrel mod that shoots around 170 flat with 30-40 pumps using fish weight darts.

Also made a Super Soaker CPS 4100 with brass barrel. Shoots around 170-200 ftwith less pumping than the CPS 2500.

I'm in the process of modding my CPS 2500 into a pump-free gas canister propelled loser rifle. I will post pictures when I'm done!

It depends where the super soaker is leaking from, it its from the water nozzle, ur gun's a goner. Buy a new one!

If it's somewhere in the air piping, use a glue gun to seal the leaks hope this helps!

I shot 4 fish-weight darts, one got 273 feet, 262 feet, 269 feet and 185 feet. Respectively. The world's most powerful modified NERF gun!! Can shoot accurately in the 150 feet range, extremely deadly! Will post pictures up soon!

I think it shoots over 200 feet now but I need to get a few measuring tapes from home to measure it good, because I live in the dorm now and the nerf dart I shot flew across a big parking lot. I think the distance now is around 260 feet.

I measured it on the street using 2 100 feet measuring tapes so the distance is accurate, thats wut i do for measuring all my distances.

it takes around 30 pumps, if you pump 110 times (max) makes no difference though, actually shot worse for some reason. B)

My modded CPS 2500 got 190 feet! I just bought it from value village last friday and I went straight home and modded it and put in a 12 inch brass barrel and it outshoots my CPS 1200 which max distance is 138 feet. Do you think my CPS 2500 is the farthest shooting modified gun ever?

I got a question, how much time does it take for you to reload your modded maxshot, it takes me around 5 secs to do it because I got to stuff the dart in the barrel with a plunger, should I cut the brass barrel shorter so I can just stick it with my fingers?
