I don't think so. Unless you shoot it at people outside of your house/off your property. It depends where you live though.

Depends entirely on your local ordinances. Some cities have expressly made air powered launchers of any kind illegal to use within city limits.

PB and airsoft are specifically addressed in most places. In the entire state of California it's illegal to fire PB or airsoft guns in public. California recently moved airsoft guns into the same legal category as air rifles rather than toys. If you shoot an airsoft gun at someone here you could potentially do jail time. In New Jersey and New York City it's illegal to posess an airsoft gun at all.

In Brookfield, it's illegal to shoot any compressed air or explosive powered projectile weapon. This means all those little kids running around with un-modded nerf guns could be arrested. The fine is $1000+.

That leaves me confused.:-(

Do you perhaps mean nerf is legal unless you kill someone with it? If so, just go read the thread prior to your post in it.

Does a homemade have the power to kill someone?

That all depends on the homemade.

This one certainly could.

Man, I once accidently sniped the UPS guy with my sm5k. He was confused as hell but didnt spot me. Probly decided it was a bug or something.

Death is nothing, but to live defeated and inglorious is to die daily.

Oxide:
Where I live, I can't pump anything over 110 PSI.

A PVC built gun can easily maim someone very badly when using anything other than marshmallows. Even those hurt like a mofo. You want to see something that can penetrate sheet metal?
Look at Joel's Mega.
He does it for a living.
