#227365 All City Moshpit Tourniment In Naperville

Posted by PointBlank on 30 April 2009 - 09:09 PM in Nerf Wars

Which Naperville?

#227321 Strange Bbb Occurrence...

Posted by PointBlank on 30 April 2009 - 07:47 PM in General Nerf

Is it possible that the catch spring wasn't there in the first place? Just a guess, as I have had nerf guns function without them in the past.

#227278 Nb-2k

Posted by PointBlank on 30 April 2009 - 05:31 PM in Modifications

Sounds great! Cant wait to see the final product.

#227271 Titan Hand-cannon Minimization With Cool Barrel

Posted by PointBlank on 30 April 2009 - 04:23 PM in Modifications

Also i dont find it looks too bad, but im thinking of making a stock for it kinda like Pointblank did.

Just make sure that if you do that and add that to you're writeup, you give me credit where credit is due.

#227269 Foamtalk: A Nerf Podcast

Posted by PointBlank on 30 April 2009 - 04:19 PM in General Nerf

Congratulations on the first podcast, I really enjoyed it! Can't wait until the 2nd episode =]

#227230 At2k In A Disc-shot

Posted by PointBlank on 30 April 2009 - 01:22 PM in Modifications

I like the gun, but I have a few questions.

1. Is it awkward to hold because of the pumping mech?
2. Is it awkward to pull the trigger from the back of the gun?
3. How durable is the pumping mech? It looks like it could go up and down.

#227154 Dtg Longshot

Posted by PointBlank on 29 April 2009 - 07:35 PM in General Nerf

Tempting, but I wold really like to see a picture of the gun before I bid on it.

#227004 Hornet Mods

Posted by PointBlank on 28 April 2009 - 10:09 PM in Modifications

I highly suggest fooling around with a NF. They are cheap, reliable, and you can do tons of crazy stuff with 'em. Just experiment, it is a great gun to get better at modding with.

#226993 The Cyclops

Posted by PointBlank on 28 April 2009 - 09:37 PM in Modifications

Very nice mod! It looks like the nitefinder came like that originally. The barrel in the write up is just a cpvc coupler, correct?

Correct.

#226947 That Ma5c Halo Gun-wannabe Thingy That Buzzbee Made~

Posted by PointBlank on 28 April 2009 - 07:25 PM in Modifications

Nice mod. Wow, you've been really busy with all these mods you have been putting out haven't you?

#226937 Topic Outline

Posted by PointBlank on 28 April 2009 - 07:17 PM in Site Feedback

Click options at the top right, then drop down to "switch to standard"

Edit: Darn, I wasn't fast enough.

#226822 Plastic Safe Lubricants

Posted by PointBlank on 28 April 2009 - 12:42 PM in General Nerf

Thanks allot for this, I was actuary really in need of this information for my next project. =] Perfect timing. Its also nice to know that I have been doing it wrong for almost two years now <_<

#226807 I Got A Question About My Balls

Posted by PointBlank on 28 April 2009 - 10:37 AM in General Nerf

Not exactly what I was expecting when I saw this thread, but no, you are not imagining, the yellow balls are softer.

#226755 Cross 'n Load

Posted by PointBlank on 27 April 2009 - 10:36 PM in Modifications

Props man, I love the look.

#226745 Rf20

Posted by PointBlank on 27 April 2009 - 10:25 PM in Modifications

What makes you so special that you get to ask these questions and not use your brain like the rest of us? Heres the fucking mod directory. Use it.

EDIT: Ok maybe that was a bit harsh... But the mod directory is a powerful tool when you know how to use it.

#226719 Airsoft Wars Gun Etc And Paintball Post H3r3 If You Play

Posted by PointBlank on 27 April 2009 - 09:17 PM in Modifications

that's nice and all, but this belongs under random

by the way, raplacing "e" with "3" does not make you cool

Neither does horrible spelling, no capitalization, and a serious lack of punctuation...

But seriously, why the hell would you post this here? Have you read any posts within the last few days?? There has been a thread as bad as this posted every day now for a week or so, they all end the same way... What is this world coming to?

#226700 Stefan Dart Tutorial Video

Posted by PointBlank on 27 April 2009 - 08:21 PM in General Nerf

I like how you took it slow and used good quality video. Easy to understand and follow. However, I think you should have used a ruler to measure out your darts. It's more professional.

#226696 Firefly Modding

Posted by PointBlank on 27 April 2009 - 08:16 PM in Modifications

I often just use an exacto knife.

#226686 Last Stand [new Game Type]

Posted by PointBlank on 27 April 2009 - 08:06 PM in Nerf Wars

Thanks for the up, I will have to try this some time.

#226639 Topic Name Availability

Posted by PointBlank on 27 April 2009 - 06:33 PM in Site Feedback

This would just lead to more confusion. People would start adding extra random words and "!"s at the end of their topic names. Quite frankly it would be very annoying.

#226503 Vulcan Jamming Heavily?

Posted by PointBlank on 27 April 2009 - 11:41 AM in Modifications

Sheesh, what kind of camera did you use? It is so blurry, I have no idea what it is even a picture of.

#226497 Single Shot Mav

Posted by PointBlank on 27 April 2009 - 10:49 AM in Modifications

I've always been a fan of minimization. Good job.

#226374 Ultrabright Led Integration

Posted by PointBlank on 26 April 2009 - 08:33 PM in Modifications

In retrospect, were I in a night war, I wouldn't exactly want bright lights showing exactly where I was. But still, I like the look of the gun.

#226360 The Cyclops

Posted by PointBlank on 26 April 2009 - 08:08 PM in Modifications

Why didn't you just run the tubing from the tank below the trigger and place the pump in the handle? This way you can have the nf and the at3k.

As Alkorion said, It has already been done. Besides, the whole point of this mod was to make it look as much as the NF as possible, or at least look like a stock gun.

#226313 Nerf Longshot

Posted by PointBlank on 26 April 2009 - 06:51 PM in Site Feedback

Just a tip... people erotically massage posting these kinds of threads. You will find this out soon enough.

#226158 Chy, The Crayola'd Bbb

Posted by PointBlank on 26 April 2009 - 02:01 PM in Modifications

I think many people over look the greatness of crayola barrels. They are cheep, easy, and because of their fast re-load times, awesome in indoor wars. Although this has been don plenty of times, it is still great to see more writeups being posted. Also, nice paint job.

#225820 Nerf Site

Posted by PointBlank on 25 April 2009 - 05:04 PM in Off Topic

No.

#225756 Rear Cocking Longshot

Posted by PointBlank on 25 April 2009 - 02:00 PM in Modifications

Ice did something like this, also just a suggestion, try not to post anything until you have all the pics and work written up. Otherwise, as you will soon find out, there are allot of people who will give you crap about it.

#225658 My Recon

Posted by PointBlank on 25 April 2009 - 12:08 AM in Modifications

Yah, you seriously need to get the front end straight.

#225657 Bbb Coupler Writeup

Posted by PointBlank on 25 April 2009 - 12:04 AM in Modifications

It's a nice, clean write up, but there is nothing really new. Also you need better pics. Good job though.

#225463 New Raider CS-35 Speculation Thread

Posted by PointBlank on 24 April 2009 - 12:41 PM in General Nerf

Looks like fun.

#225456 Community-wide Mod Contest

Posted by PointBlank on 24 April 2009 - 11:45 AM in News

Are we allowed to update our entries after posted? Mine is functional but I am not happy with trigger function.... Then again, I might never change it. I was not sure If I should paint it until I have a smoother trigger for fear of damaging finish while disassembling it.

Don

Then just wait until closer to the deadline to submit it.

Just to clarify, are we aloud to update our entries after posting the link in the submission thread or not? You never quite answered the question.

Thanks for the help

#225451 Recon Barrel Replacement

Posted by PointBlank on 24 April 2009 - 11:10 AM in Modifications

/thread

What a wait of server space.

#225377 The Cyclops

Posted by PointBlank on 23 April 2009 - 09:50 PM in Modifications

You said 3k intigration. That looks like a 2k tank. My 3k tanks are black and no where NEAR that clean. I have to cut parts off for a tank.

Well, it is infact an at3k tank. I guess I just did a realy good job removing all the extra crap.

If you don't believe me I can always rip it out and take a close up...it would be inconvenient however

#225352 The Cyclops

Posted by PointBlank on 23 April 2009 - 08:09 PM in Modifications

*UPDATE!!!*

I added new pictures with the better trigger mechanism.

What do you think?

#225323 Question?

Posted by PointBlank on 23 April 2009 - 05:39 PM in Off Topic

First, you are going to need an image storing website. Like this. Upload your images there. Then, when you are posting something, you will see a little icon that looks like a globe on top of a chain located right above where you are typing your message. I hope this helped, if it didn't, I will re-explain in greater detail.

I know exactly how you feel. The first few months on this website I had no idea either.

#225270 The Cyclops

Posted by PointBlank on 23 April 2009 - 01:19 PM in Modifications

This is sweet. Very clean, looks very functional. Im definatly doing this when my 3k gets here. But why didnt you conect the tank pin/trigger to the stock NF trigger? Mabye I should do that, unless you've tried that... and it dosn't work...

It does, work, but it requires allot of extra work. I am ironing out all the kinks and soon I will post the better trigger mech.

#225259 Auto Longshot

Posted by PointBlank on 23 April 2009 - 12:00 PM in Modifications

It is people like you that will eventually ruin the internet as we know it...

#225189 Guru Mk. iii

Posted by PointBlank on 22 April 2009 - 10:48 PM in Homemades

I can't stop looking at this! It is just too sexy!

#225186 The Cyclops

Posted by PointBlank on 22 April 2009 - 10:29 PM in Modifications

That's sweet... If it was mine, I'd put a light spring in the pump to pull the cocking/pump handle back in to place every time. I don't know why, I just think that'd be a convenient addition.

Interesting thing to consider, it would be nice to make the pump motion easier.
