In a plunger for a spring gun, do you think it matters whether the hole where the air releases is in the middle or a little above.
The size of the hole matters a lot more than its position. The position of the hole in the endcap has no effect on the pressure that the plunger will generate.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Im going to have to relocate the hole. If not that, maybe connect a tube to the barrell where I want it to be.

There has been a mod thread which has paint jobs, however, it doens't show up on the most recent board, so most people wouldn't post new paint jobs if he posted in the thread saying they should. There you are again critisizing people. I think it is a great post for your first time. Someone hasn't done a thread like this in a while.

I sold some painted Nitefinders a while back that were silver and black. I made some dough!!! Well Ill get pictures up soon...

Hello. I have been inspired by many people on this sight to build something unlike anyhting else, therefore I made this silencer.... that actually works!!!

here are some pics...

Steps:
1.) glue crayola marker to end of the barrell and take out the air restrictors.
2.) drill holes in 3/4 inch pvc, then glue onto marker.
3.) wrap pvc with kleenex and then with electric tape.
4.) get 1 1/4 pvc and drill holes to your style, then glue onto 3/4 pvc.
5.) stuff gun with kleenex for no vibration.
6.) paint to yout choice.

without a bullet, it is only half the sound of a normal modded nite finder, but when you are actually shooting a real dart, it is so muffled it is unbelievable!!!

please, give suggestions so I can make it better!

Yeah i know, this is my first picture post and i messed up a lot, this took 20 minutes for the pictures... haha. The gun feels great because the front is so heavy!

-no, the silencer is not removable. i dont have the right materials for it to be screw on.

Ompa, I am just talking theoretically... no need to shut it down. Trust me, I have heard many times in my day that they just make them for kids. I think they would make more business because nerf wouldn't be looked like a totally kiddish toy, but for 12 and 13 year olds too. That is what they are doing with the longshot and magstrike... making their guns more grown up.

This post is mainly to give ideas for guns we wan't next time and what we think Nerf will come out with next. I know the '06 blasters just came out, but that isn't a reason not to brainstorm what is next! Please give explanations of a gun you would like to see come out or what you think they will come out with.

-I will start it off...

I think they should make a clip fed gun, which is small and like a pistol-like the size of the gun on the front of the longshot. It should be like that gun but with a clip. It would be so easy to shoot! Also I think they will come out with a new N-strike pistol. I also think it will have a clip... I have noticed Nerf is starting to do everything with clips, it is their destiny...

Wow. I've seen you post a lot in the last few days, and all of your topics have been, dare I say......Noob-ish?!?! You're new, so we should be somewhat understanding. But seriously penguin, research your topics, and read the code of conduct where it says "Don't post unless you have something to say." I like playing in the dark. My basement has no windows so we make it pitch black and have 2 sides. For that, you dont need powerful guns because it is a 20 ft by 50 ft basement. It is still really fun. You need great stealth techniques and you haveto be very quiet. It is great!

I think we should compile a few myths that you actually have heard of, and atleast try and post a few of them on the mythbusters fan site. You may not see it possible or even plausible (Haha) but we should atleast try and get it on the show. Like I said before, we could watch adam and jamie have a competition to build the most powerful nerf gun. They have so many resources, they could build a great gun!

Hello, I love the show Mythbusters, anyone else? Well, I was thinking that if we all posted a myth about a nerf gun so powerfull it stopped a heart or something like that on their fansite, then they would do it on the show. Whoever watches it, you know that they would have like a contest to make the best gun and probably have a waron the show! I think it woould be great because we could see some very smart inventors making nerf guns from scratch! anyone agree? I think we should make a myth to get it on the show!

My family got a black female pug, and then after 2 years, we bred it with the neighbor male fawn (tan) pug. We took care of the 5 puppies. It was great waking up every morning to running 1 week pug pups. we sold 4, but kept 1. The mothers name is Olive, and it's baby is named, well... Baby. I may have pictures up later.

Hello, great work on the crossbow, however i have a few questions... Did you cut off the yellow tube coming out of the compression chanmber? i am not sure whether it would help or not... Also, your barrell seems pretty short or is that just me? would it get better range with a longer barell?
