I dont wanna give anything away, but we should have some excellent entries here. I know from seeing the progression of Langley's creation that if he gets his ass in gear and finishes it, it will need stiff competition to be beaten.

I, on the other hand, need to find a rare dollar store gun before I can even start.

I agree with this, and hope I got the jist of things.
But I think that the difference between having fun and trying to diddle the shit out of people (which I suppose we did to Spoon at Apoc) is all the difference. Try to figure that sentence out on your own.
Either way, I like to compare Nerf to Counter-Strike, in that there are some people who are total fucking jackasses and only use the AWP (a super losing gun that is really gay) and the people who can put down the ultra sexy guns and use a pump shotgun or Deagle. Same with nerf, since there are some who only use the guns that cut people to Swiss cheese (Evil was one of these with that damn concoction of his, but he used his Maxshot the other day). Thats one of the reasons I think Vacc is really cool, because he knows that he should put down the Binkster and whip out a blastfire or dual LnL's, maybe because he thinks its more fun or he realizes the LCM sucks.
To summarize this nonsensical post, I agree with the others who say the gun doesnt make the game fun.

If you mod the gun right, you don't have to worry much about the spring. I think i stretched mine once and it wasnt even much of a stretch. My point is, if you do the rest of the mod right, the gun will kick ass without changing the spring.
That's just because I was too lazy to go find a good spring and pay for it though.

Due to some scheduling changes, I can make the war now. It just depends on how much reading I want to put off that weekend. If I come, it'll probably be with a carload, so count me as a maybe with 3-4.
