I'm not BSing you, I got 60-70ft with a nf spring added. That's pretty normal I think. Maybe you shouldn't of stretched the spring(s).

This is my longshot 2k
It's a great gun that I made a few months ago, but I'm questioning myself as to replacing the AT2K with the awesome integration with a DTB

Unless this gun sucks majorly, which I'll know before I buy because here in Washington we get the guns last it seems like, I'll most likely get this gun. Overall it looks fun and would be great for indoor wars, I can't wait for it!

I know many of these mods involve adding lube to the plunger, what lube do you guys recommend? I know a water based, but the only lubricant I saw at my hardware store was this stuff called Jig-A-Loo that is "unlike any other lubricant, it contains no oil, grease, wax or detergent" according to their site. Do you guys know about this stuff?
I made a thread about this a while ago and everyone told me NOT to use anything petroleum based or WD-40. Other than that silicone based lubricants.
Oh yeah, don't use vegatable oil.

Yeah, I saw it, I like his paintjob, but where are the lights? I knew someone was going to do this, I'm kind of amazed of how cleanly he did it though, it's actually pretty good. Not better than the original, but still good.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I think the lights are only good if you are wondering who is on your team.
For example, A Gear holding the Lancer will have blue lights and the Locusts holding Lancers will have red lights.
Oh and by the way this puppy will be up for sale in the next month or so.
I will start a trading thread when it is.
I never caught that when I played the game, thanks! The lights don't sound like they will "save your ass frequently" or are even helpful, but are very cool.
Also I can just imagine how much this beast will sell for.

I understand that keef but why would someone have LED lights on a gun? My question is not why Forsaken put it there, but why the creators of GoW would in the first place. The only real reson I can think of is for cosmetic purposes and even then I don't think it looks that cool
Have you ever played Gears of War? I'll take that as a no. If you ever played, you would know that it is extremely helpful and saves your ass frequently.
Yes, I've played Gears of War and I don't remember the lights ever doing anything, but who knows it's been a few months since I've played the game.

OK, FH I'll show what I've done.
Ok, so I've been playing guitar for about 1 1/2 years and my dad also plays too. For christmas I bought a Squier Strat from a Pawn shop for about 80$. Now this guitar was beat up and old. So I chipped out all of the black (original) paint off it and sanded it down. Next, I painted the guitar SeaFoam green. I also added a new pick guard to it, white pearl, to give it a retro 70's feel to the guitar.
Lastly I changed the strings and added some new, good, tuning pegs to it.

Name: The Chilibow.
Mods Done: Lvl. 4 reinforcement, Plunger rod reinforced as well as the normal reinforcement. It used to be couplered but it kept breaking off so I just singled it with 8 or 9 in of PETG.
Integrations:A SM750 on top. It's fired with a keyring at the top.
Comments: The SM750 gets great ranges while the crossbow gets below average range. Probably around 50-80 ft but I've never range tested it since this last mod. The paintjob isn't the greatet while the blue marks look like a 3rd grader did it. The thing that matters is the gun works though.
The one thing that motivated me to finish this is a war coming up. I would have it couplered but it's just not as reliable. When I get some epoxy I probably will though. Plumber's Goop + epoxy putty hasn't held up too good. Honestly, I don't even like this gun too much, the stock isn't big enough for my likes and I'm a small guy too. Just knowing that everyone wants this gun makes me not want to sell it. HA. I'll probably find another at GW some day too, anyway. Glad to finally be in this thread!
