I am working on put estes C class rockets into small nerf footballs than putting fins on it and drilling holes so when the parachute charge goes off the darts fly out. Basically a nerf mortar.

No offense but you obviously have seen the mtb rhino motors so you did a small amount of research but really not enough.(asking people on this forum not to be harsh is like screaming at them saying ROAST ME) But look at the voltage they run on and you are getting around 13 volts yet they are rated for 12. It isnt that much of a difference in fact those are the motors you should get. Not hard of a question but you would be better off messaging someone who would know like poster of the "Which is the best motor after extensive testing" thread.

Pvc is in SAE not metric so it shouldn't be a problem.

If you cut the pump down a small bit so the pump isn't ahead of the front bushing you can actually use bungies or hobby king silicon tubing like Remzak uses. I might do this to my snap of turning it to a half assed rainbow pump does work.

No one is alienating anyone, in fact if anything this community brings people in to NIC. As a kid I can't do too many hobbies. As I was bored one day I started watching YouTube scrolling through my suggested videos... There was a nerf mod and I thought to myself "Wow this is so cool, I can't believe this is a thing". Two days later me and my dad go to target for two rapidstrikes. At this point I was only into painting them and I wasn't skilled enough to mod yet. But me and my dad painted them and he showed me how. It may not seem like much but my parents are divorced and I never really hang out with my dad, nerf brought us together. And this isn't the end. I decided to go to my first war after modding some of my own guns. But I didn't know what NIC meant and there is almost no wars where I live so that was my only choice. I waited for three months for that war and it was the best experience I could've had. Everyone there had over powered blasters compared to me. Me and my friend shot them around just to get used to them for a few minutes. During the rounds I barely got someone but that didn't change anything the people there were so nice lent me a awesome gun, I got to test the pcsr (awesome blaster by Aeromech) and most importantly I made new friends. Now after writing all this do you realize that if anything this community does nothing but bring people together?

Rhino motors are not from the rhino fire so I can tell you are new. Go on google and look up make test battle than go to the store and get rhino motors

To be honest I think an oak crossbow would look so cool stained and coated. You can always reinforce the internals with copper plates like drac did on the Lilith. If it only cost you like 300$ for the tools the wood is extremely accessible I'm pretty sure if you would be able to get a ton of money from crossbow fans to make wood shells with copper reinforcements and would probably pay you back after 3 or 4 crossbows.

A would crossbow would be really cool. I'm thinking use like blood oak or something because they tend to withstand a lot of pressure so the spring won't break it.

What I was think is a 1.5 in diameter pvc tube cut in half and put a pool noodle cut down the middle over that and drill a couple holes in the Zeus to string it on there or use hot glue and epoxy.

No you must use epoxy glue is no where near strong enough. If you can't do it yourself hire someone to do it for you.

Get that bondo out

That little dot is all the hardener you need.

Now apply the bondo. Go as heavy as you please just know you have to sand it down afterwords.

Sand it down paint it and you are all ready to go. I'll post mine once I am done painting it.

The only difference is dye soaks in. In my experience coat is just fine.

Hmm do you mind sending me a link i would love to try those out. Also van (this is unrelated) is Neno mostly NIC like frozen foam or is super stock still a thing because I'm debating whether or not to hook up a 2s to my strayven and put falcon 130s in it.
