I have experimented in constructing homemade airsoft guns and have found that general purpose straws work very well as airsoft barrels, as the seal created between the bb and the straw is perfect. Straws obviously have very little structural integrity, therefore I found that if you take your standard white, round stic bic pen, and remove the tip and end cap, a straw fits very snugly within the pen casing, increasing the durability of the barrel. I have experimented with a pen/straw barrel on an ar15 replica airsoft gun and it got great ranges which were about the same as a normal airsoft barrel. The only drawback is that these barrels don't have hop up, but that doesn't really make a drastic difference between conventional airsoft barrels and this.
Also, you may have to look around for a straw with the right inner diameter, i found that most straws fit airsoft bb's though, so you shouldn't have a hard time finding the right one.

If you want a good airsoft gun get either a clear hardballer 2 (39.99) if you want ok range but really good rate of fire for a springer, or get an mp5 sd3(44.99) (i dont think they come in clear) which has great range and accuracy and medium rate of fire, or you could get a UHC m9 which is pretty much one of the best spring pistols (im not sure if they come in clear). If you want a cheap gas gun that doesn't come in clear you could get a UHC USP gas non-blowback pistol(39.99)
I own all of thses guns, except the gas one and they all work fine and are very nice guns. I ordered them from http://www.shortyusa...2.226&RID=1&NL= , that site has very, very good service. I also own a super 9 and i like it alot but thats out of your price range. And I'ved used a Panther arms A-15 and its a great gun also, but that out of your price range also.
EDIT: try to avoid any guns from neonfire they are really cool looking, but suck for the most part.

Im probably just going to use a hose nozzle for now because i already returned my solenoid valve and bought a hose nozzle. That mod looks interesting, ill have to try it sometime.
Anyways thanks for all the help
Yeah in the instructions it says not to use that manual bleed constantly because it is only meant for troubleshooting and testing the valve.I have also heard bad things about repeatedly using the manual bleed, eventually it possibly will break the valve (this is only what I have heard however).
Anyways thanks for all the help

I might try that later, but i have a few questions. How does the air compressor valve open the solenoid valve, wouldn't air just leak out the other side of the air compressor valve, and can you buy the air compressor valves at homedepot?

thats the same thing it does with mine it makes a clicking noise when I turn it on and another clicking noise when i turn it off. Did you ever attach your valve to a tank? Because i think the solenoid valves are like a locks or something, when you give it power it unlocks, but then it would need pressure to open the valve all the way. I returned the 2 rainbird solenoid valves i had and bought and orbit one at home depot but now im having a different problem. When i pump it up the air leaks out the other side when i get above like 10 p.s.i. So It's almost like a pressure release valve, i cant pump it above 10 p.s.i. without it leaking.
