Man, I stopped playing Halo after that Flood level, primarily because I needed to buy a new pair of pants after it, (The chair went into the trash too) but man that's sexy. What'd be awesome is if you could use a CO2 cartiridge or something like that to power a blowback system to chamber a shell from a magazine. Frickin semio auto fire.....I know, not from Halo, but for a Benneli M4 Super 90? Shweet.

But, quiveling over aesthetics (and poop-laden pants) aside, frickin' shweet. Very nice job Ompa.

It's a cool concept, but keep in mind that the M1 Garand/Carbine and the M14 are both semi automatic rifles. If you could create a simple magazine feed system and incorperate a gas operated bolt that'd turn it into a machine. Otherwise if you want to stick with single shots, try to make a M40 or another famous bolt rifle. See my post if you need a hint.

P.S- Trying now to build a lever action design. Will let you know when I figure it out.

LiKnSmAkScOmIn! is quite right. By removing the poles and air restrictors your pressure will drop significantly. Unless you plan on using this as a CQB bullethose, I don't suggest doing this.
