Can't Find Pc Mod

Does anyone know the site where the mod to reduce the size of a PC is? I've searched google with all the keywords I can think of and I still can't find it.
Vortex Duct Tape Ammo
04 April 2004 - 01:06 PM
After reading about ItalionStallion using lightsaber rings as ammo for Vortex guns, I started to think about other ways to make them. My friend just recently discovered he had a Tornado X/2 but none of the rubber rings. First he tried one just out of a couple layers of duct tape despite my warnings. He managed (somehow) to get it stuck behind the whole bolt system. So after fixing that all up, I cut a large toilet paper tube to the correct length, adjusted it to fit, and wraped a few layers of duct tape around it to hold it together.
It was a bit of a tight fit, but slid on after a bit of force. I stood at the end of my kitchen and tested the new ammo. The results were not as good as I had hoped, as the new rings flew only about 20 ft and curved down and to the right after 15 or so. I think it did that because the ammo isn't exactly round. After I get done with my pile of homework for the weekend, I plan on trying to make one out of many layers of duct tape instead of just a few. Snce my idea didn't work out very well so far, I was wondering if you guys had any ideas or improvements you think/know would work well.
EDIT: Oh and on another topic, until just recently I had no idea that my friend with the Tornado X/2 was actually BigHaulOfNerf. He said he plagiarized (sp?) because he wanted to be "in". He can be pretty queer when he puts his mind to it.

Paintball Customizable
11 March 2004 - 11:56 PM
Not to be disrespectful (Don't take this the wrong way, I'm just voicing my opinion), but I'm tired of hearing people say nerf blasters are much more customizable than paintball markers. It's not that I don't think nerf is very customizable, but paintball is just as so, if not more. Here's why: You can customize the internals of a paintball marker with new bolts (theres tons of them), trigger frames, triggers, volumizers, and all that good stuff. There's a lot more believe me, I'm just to lazy to drone on and on. (Oh wait thats what I'm about to do) Aside from customizing the gun on the inside, there is much that can be done on the outside as well. Anodizing, new barrels of varying lengths and bores, drop forwards and airports, different options with the tank (CO2 or Nitro, 3000 or 4500 ci tanks, regular or carbon fiber, etc etc), hoppers (of all shapes and kinds), stickers (yes, stickers), and grips are all necessary or optional on a paintball gun. Depending on the type of gun (cocker, angel, intimidator, etc) there can be many other upgrades besides the ones I've mentioned. Now if you don't paintball, a lot of this stuff probably just went in one ear and out the other. If you'd like me to explain something dealing with a paintball marker, just ask, and I'll be glad to.
Good Modding Gun?
11 March 2004 - 06:03 PM
Ok I'm just starting to get back into nerf, and I think I'm ready to start modding guns. But what I'm really wondering is what's a good gun to try to mod for the first time or a gun that can be modded multiple times (all mods are relatively simple and easy)? I'm not sure if I'm skilled enough to start modding barrels yet. A) I'm pretty sure I can't get my hands on any PVC or brass and B) I don't have a clue how to use crayola barrels. Right now I'm just thinking of a gun that can be easily air modded, and that I may be able to barrel mod when I feel ready to.
Vortex
11 March 2004 - 05:44 PM
Hey I was looking into getting a vortex gun and considering I have no real knowledge about their specifics, I'd like to know if I should get a Tornado or Firestorm and their pros and cons. All I remember is when I was 8 or so, one of my neighbors had a Firestorm that broke down really easily. As far as I've heard, the Tornado shoots farther, but takes longer to reload and thats about it. Also, what's the difference between all the vortex pistols? From the pictures, they all look like the have the same build, but different colors. Thanks for any info.
