At2k Problem
15 May 2007 - 06:18 PM
okay, so I just got 2 at2ks from my friend, and I have the supplies needed to mod them. I took all of the screws out, but the small area that covers the bit the pump goes into will not come off! (you know, the piece about 2 inches in front of the trigger guard.) It is not welded on, that much I am sure of. So what do I do? (I have already tried screwdrivers, X-acto knives, and saws)
Nerf Rattler Dart
09 May 2007 - 07:33 PM
Okay, I made a new type of dart that is really cool. I call it the Rattler Dart. With many of the nerf darts I have fired, I noticed that they bounce to a maximum of 6 feet with the darts I made (probably a glitch). My new dart, called the Rattler Dart (because when you shake it it rattles) not only lands a maximum of 2 feet away from what you hit, It also glows in the dark! Both of these combined make the Rattler Dart easy to find, and the mechanism used to make it not bounce so far gives the dart a little harder impact.
Instructions begin here:
take one small copper plated BB and one glow in the dark plastic BB. I use the copperhead and glow in the dark tracer BBs from Crosman, but use whatever you want.
Put the copper one in the end of the dart just as you would any other weight, then put the glow in the dark one in.
cover the end in hot glue, and voila! you have your rattler dart.
When the dart is fired the copper bit stays near the end of the hole in the dart. When the dart lands and bounces off, the copper plated BB pushes on the front, stopping the dart from flying backwards.
Couldn't upload the pics, put them on flickr, here they are.

Football Teams

Alright, all 32 American Football teams listed, couldn't make 32 possible answers, so they got kinda squeezed. Okay, so, pick who you like. Go crazy .
I personally like the Pats. They have a good team this year.

Nite-mav Pistol
29 April 2007 - 06:17 PM
Hi all, my first topic, so please don't judge me based on this, as it may get kind of noobish. I am building this already, so the pictures will be up soon.
Basically, I cut the front off of my Maverick, then I did Carrtoon's nite-mav mod and added a crayola barrel and voila! Except I'm having some problems with the trigger, but I should be able to fix those.
Pics, ranges, and a new mod coming soon!
(your opinion of "soon" and "good looking" may vary )
